Which would be better for leveling quickly through to 80?

I typically go with a slash weapon as my primary and a blunt/mace weapon for my secondary and just swap according to the enemy that I’m fighting. The spiked mace is piercing damage which may not be your friend from 40-80. If piercing damage works for where you’ll be leveling, though, then it’s the clear choice. More phys and magic damage, and crit as well.

I got three of them and it got me till level 100.
