This is something I noticed quite a while ago but forgot to make a thread about: the audio quality of the BGMs is pretty crappy.
I didn’t notice it at first with my cheap, old speakers but when I put on my headphones (ath-m40x if that matters), the music started to sound somewhat jarring. I checked the files and surely enough discovered that the music is encoded in 128 kbp/s mp3.
I don’t know why such a low bitrate was chosen but it’d be nice to at least have 320 kbp/s mp3s instead, especially with such a great soundtrack!
