315 2practo weapons vs new 350weapons

Hai!

So far what ive seen is that 350weapons got more patk than 315 orange/purple weapons and got more sockets + random stats… is there any point of crafting new 315 weps?

im torn apart bout crafting new 2practo wep vs just selling all mats / saving em and see what 350 brings. so far judging on pictures. those 350weps rival solmiki gears pretty much dmg wise / def wise but stats are random.

some gears ive seen are “lucky” drops and have better stats than solmiki… ofc i guess transc+anvils are better on solmiki? should scale better atleast but whats the point when you can have 10x better stats overall on those new gears?

esp 315 gears vs 350 ones. for example lets say astra bow. it does have quite poor stats for it. even 315HG purple bow rivals it.

now 350bows do have more damage than astra and can have same stats and even more. Not to mention more sockets.

so the question is… is there any point on grinding meaninglessly on 315 mats or solmiki? since new 350 gears are better overall. (unless ur close to solmiki gears already)

whats your opinion?

My opinion is simple. It takes a lot more effort to make 315 practo gears than 350, if I understood their dev blogs correctly.

In view of that, I will be going straight for 350 gears. :slight_smile:

If you need the stats of the 315 weapons, the 315 weapons will be better (e.g. Thaumaturge), if you’re just after the matk/patk, the new items will be better, because they may provide you higher attack and sometimes even more slots in comparison.
They are also more available, which makes them targets for alchemists Briquetting to further improve the values of the weapon by up to 12,5%. And, if you mess up, you can still disintegrate them for weapon powder to improve the stats/change the stats later on.

Imo the new weapons are just so much better, if you have shards right now it’s probably better to settle with either the one practo weapon & transcend it or go for the rare grade 315 weapon and transcend it to break it down for your shards back at the new cap&new weapon.

They will have a settled amount of sockets (3 or 5).
The random stats may be even better than what we have right now (who knows, I’ve seen on Ktos Thread the image of a two handed sword with a 56 STR bonus) but that is just a speculation.

I’ll be going for 350 gears without hesitation if they are so easy to acquire

The new wearpons are the best option, but… with the level and cost of upgrade, the 315 practonium wearpons are a good option, in special if your build or class take benefits of this wearpons. For example, the Emengard Shield and class tank (Murmillo or Paladin with blunt and shield). Other question is if compare the 2 hands wearpons… Same power attack, more Socket and can put the addiotional effects to taste, for example, for a tank build , STR, CON and Block penetration.

Yes Solmiki is the best. Legendary grade + anvil is the best.

You need a dedicated party or a strong weapon/strong eqs to farm at the new HG.
Getting a red/orange 350 weapon isn’t very common. For example, Inje’s drops after farming quite some:
Red: 9 (weapon:1, armor: 8 )
Violet: 71 (weapon: 28, armor: 49)
Blue: 837 equips

Any practo right now is probably best used for the accessories, since those effects are pretty dope (and I don’t think the new RNG drop include accessories? could be wrong)

I checked the stats on ktest tos neet. Speaking in terms of the average player’s silver income without whaling and not caring too much about min-max.

If you already have an orange +16 weapon, in most cases it’s better to keep it even if you lose 1 gem slots. Mainly because +16 is rather hard to get.

If your orange weapon is only +11, I’m not too sure if you need to change them. Just go to the tos neet site and plug in the values and decide for yourself. IMO it’s more of personal preference since pract weapons have rather good stats anyway while the new weapons need some rerolling stat thing which can get expensive pretty fast.

The answer for that is: Now is up to, wait for a long ride and desperate, where you will wait every monday, to see the patch notes, and be disappointed.
Its kind of ridiculous, we continue play and make 315 orange weapons, when ktos just got the new patch a while ago(like 2 weeks?). If you need damage until the new patch(where we cannot know when will comes), just go for orange and invest, or if you decide to do not go to orange, and go for puprple ones, congrats, you are in the perfect scenario of wainting new patch, and not quit. And if you need the new cap, more than anything, quit for a month, or 2, then go back to the game(they will problably realease, after the population drop a lot again, same old imc experts).

Just after the Saalus patch, I don’t think that’s a good thing to do.
You can just log in for Saalus every day, do it with 1 or two characters and have 6-18 gems more per character, depending on when the patch is released.
Of course it sucks, but 1 run of Saalus grants you 100+k silver and 2-3 blessed cubes + 2-3 Saalus mission cubes and takes about 5-15 minutes to complete.
This will give you the advantage of being able to transcend your new weapon to up to Stage 3 (+60% attack) from the start.

I agree, but for me its not true, i play this since cbt, saalus its more than annoying now, so…
