I’m going to be dragoon, just a warrior tipe STR,DEX,CON,
but one of my doubts are hoplite skills like stabbing or pierce, they work with 2H spears?
Im already S1 H1 (for easy farming)
Another question,
Is Hoplite damage good in early?
beacause i suppose that i will have to take a 2 h spear and 1 h spear shild and switch but since draggon is rank 7,it will pass a long time to get the 2H spear, and dont know if its worth taking hpplite early or just wait and take it later

If you open your skill tab, you whould see little icons representing weapons. If you hover your mouse pointer over them, they will tell you with what weapons they can be used with.
Yes I know, but that requires to take the class, I wanted to know If someone being hoplite knows if it works with 2H spear
Well, all skills but synchro thrusting work with 2-handed spear.

What aboute hoplite dmg in early stages? lvls40-100
The Hoplite is a class that starts slow and picks up around Circle 2. Unfortunately, you won’t get a decent AOE ability until Circle 3 (Spear Throw), and you will have to rely on precise positioning and mobbing to make use of Stabbing for clearing large packs of mobs.

And certainly pick up stabbing and then pierce as your first choice, finestra is awesome, but it needs quite a few points before it gets good.
A tip is to always save 5 points from every rank of hop. Then you will be able to max out finestra as soon as you get to the next rank.
Hoplite burst damage is really good, especially early levels where you can pretty much kill a quest boss with Stabbing + Pierce. The problem is all our cooldowns are pretty long, so you’ll be spending a lot of time autoattacking while waiting on them which is made a bit better by Finestra. When you get to 170 and Hop3 Spear Throw with Geras Spear is a great filler to use between cooldowns.
As for 2h spears, if you can get a Brandish you will still probably be using a 1h spear + Arde/Karacha even as a Dragoon because that weapon is just too good.
