24 Hours Maintenance - Staff appreciation thread

Let’s forget about all those complaints and focus on the people here. These working hours are looking pretty inhuman, so big props for everyone involved in this crazy schedule.

You guys can use this thread to cheer up the devs, I’m really worried someone might snap during this maintenance…

yeah… here some popolion meats for IMC :meat_on_bone:

I am already surprised when Julie updated the patch notes with the Trade/Potential decrease ones. Those are only implemented into KR recently base on the other thread and we are already getting it now.
And their daily banning of bots.
@IMC

Do your best IMC or the goddess won’t be happy.

Shulda make it Avdol.

video game crunch hours aw ye.

I’m sure it’s partially so staff can rest without worrying about booting the server and encountering some huge bug, but those are long hours anyways. goodluck lads. if the GMs/CMs/devs actually had some sort of persona i’d doodle something for them.

They started to work really hard after the first weekend where they took the weekend off and everyone complained about it.

They’ve even been working during weekends now (just look at the ban waves from last saturday and sunday) and nobody really notices that.

People give this game a lot of ■■■■ but I’m glad that the staff takes their time to read the complains and suggestions and change the game acordingly.

We complained about f2p not being able to trade and now f2p can trade, even if it is restricted you wouldn’t care, got my ■■■■ delivered.

We complained about bots and we asked to help, we got a report bot button.

We complained about having lots of low level channels and they moved some to high level maps.

Thanks for listening to the comunity IMC.

its sad that Forums are basicly the place where people come to complain, so for those that dont it appear that the whole community are whiners.
So im happy to see these threads whenever they pop up.
The forum DOES NOT reflect the community, the devs while they make mistakes, we all do, they also try their best to make things right.

And thats been getting more and more obvious these last few weeks.

Great work IMC, i hope this close connection between players and Devs stay strong for many years to come.

People are just too passionate with their opinions. When something good happens (like events and free-stuff) they forget about every single problem in the game, now if they face any kind of problem they will just act as if the developers aren’t even trying.

Yeah sure there’s a lot to fix and improve in ToS (optimization x_x) but it’s not like the devs can make all of those decisions by themselves and it also doesn’t mean they aren’t working on other issues that the community constantly brings up to discussion.

Trust me, they will just ask for more the next time something similar happen. People are taking things for granted. IMC could had just do the maintenance and give nothing back. Nothing wrong at all, maintenance is part of hosting a game.

As someone who rarely mained games but instead jumped a lot from one beta game to another, I’ve been really satisfied with IMC’s responses. The speed of the responses has actually been worrying because to me some of the responses are too fast I feel there’re some ‘improvements’ that’s been pretty abrupt and I’m not sure if they just got sick of people complaining and decided to implement the changes.
Been dissatisfied with the community but it’s been 12 years since I bother caring about an MMO’s community so…

Is that good enough? Now I can go back to Mabi for 1 day before wasting my life tomorrow again in ToS.

Fact Numer 1 - IMC Staff are one of the best staff out there. They listen us, they answer us, they manage things to make us happy. (Some games dont even bother to help you when you have a problem, Heyyy Hello Webzen, time to learn!)

Fact Number 2 - The community sux in this games as it sux everywhere in 21 century… Sad fact… There isnt a single day on facebbok that i want to delete some “friends”.
The good thing about the Fact Number 2 is: everywhere there is a rare soul that is good and friendly and you can add that soul to your friend list!

Anyway, im just bored at work because i cant play it… so i should start to work for real, meh…

And nice Job IMC keep it going!!

I’m impressed by how fast they are improving ToS, honestly. Be those server changes, content updates, bug fixes, or improvements all over the place. All at the same time. Yet some players don’t realize how hard it is. They always complain for more and expect them to have a button “FIX” and poof, everything changed!

Let alone the fact that they are going further than any other eastern company I know of. They took a risky move. They released ToS almost at the same time as in Korea. They chose Steam and decided to manage everything alone.

I really hope they get success for all this. As long as they keep working to make ToS better and better everyday, I will be there supporting it (aka buying TP :p).

Keep up the good work guys! @Staff_Julie @hkkim @moderators

I’m one of your harshest critics but that’s because I do sincerely believe in your ability to improve the game for everyone’s sake. Your game is also a labour of love and everyone wants it to succeed.

No doubt there’s a lot to work on still, but thanks for hearing the players out, hoping for more to come, and do take your necessary well-deserved breaks!

Look at kToS. Now back at iToS. Look at kToS again, and now back at iToS.

IMC’s doing a hell of a good job, because, you know, at least they listen.
