nah they don’t help that much, it use to be but not anymore.

-do you farm? (90-175), compare lv5 lv10 lv15 jolly roger? silver/looting frequency/rare/uncommon mats/gems

-dont you feel the need of having some aoe skill on pve? eg. swash>surrounded by mobs>aoe. you either auto-attack(more tanking) or stab(& miss some).

@160+ my planned path sw>pelta>hop2(zega spear)>corsair>dopp>corsair. im happy so far. i tank for PTs. 22k HP when swash is active. block/atk/block/atk. i switch weapons for dust devil ok in pve.

im taking dopp for cyclone + DPE + valor then jump to back corsair, still undecided though since i might miss the perks of not being a C2

Bash3 if you can handle the button.
Long Stride 1, it’s good with Hook, guess why yorself (tested).
Any reason for taking Keel Hauling at all? It removes stun.
Dust Devil your only Slash. Why not maxed?
As JR 15 not good anymore, why still maxed?
I found higher-level Hook to be very effective whenever you solo high lvl areas.

Still, I play it without Peltasta and suffer (lol), but love it.

I’m trying to figure out why you don’t got guardian(18% more evasion).
I don’t know if you can sustain in earth tower with low hp.
My build is almost the same but i got bash for knock down(3 pts), guardian(1 pt).
In corsair build I will not take iron hook kneel hauling because of lowest usage.
About c3 corsair, I’m thinking in take it too or doppel because of cyclone and DoV

  3. Nah u really want corsair 2 ASAP for hexen dropper, thats the main goal… u can choose agian at R7

  1. Bash dont scale well, event less than my auto attack
  2. U cant use long stride with daggers/Pistol
  3. Those 2 one point skills are for pvp
  4. DD is not a good skill, ver low dmg. Only add point because there isnt any other skills.
  5. JR same reason as above
  6. When you are high lvl( above 200) u dont solo, u go in party for efficent play.

yeah hook single/frontal mob + stabbing works. you have 6secs to rape at lv1.
so hook>long stride(jump to mob position)>stabbing works too?

  1. with JR i felt more happy playing this class, getting more mats. and silver now stock piles. you dont recommend lv15 for the purpose of farming or its buff?

  2. this is true, when you are in a PT. when i solo, say in pve or farming. i feel i need a aoe skill, or maybe hexen/auto attk can do that job? a skill that can nuke a group of mobs.

  3. would you be better getting C2 right away for R6? in terms of grinding solo, dungeon runs/solo. still welcomed for most groups? your stats are dmg type, i invested some on my con. so our gameplay are different.

My 136 Corsair is pretty much the same as you op.

And I wanna ask, do you face any difficulties grinding/leveling solo?

and what are your thoughts on maxing JR, cuz I noticed the significant differences of items and moneys drop when use and not using JR.

with taunts and JR, you are always welcome to a grinding party.

Corsair C2 is a leap to next dimension.

did you also notice the frequent drop when auto attk or/ skill based dmg? either you quickly kill or tank a bit till it drops something. or maybe this is random

  2. You cannot with dagger, but you can with Pistol, I’m ~244 and I use it with Mana-Mana.
  3. Keel Hauling BREAKS STUN xD It’s not much useful in PvP, don’t you think? Also, Hook lvl 1 is very short duration, too short for PvP. You need it at least lvl 6 IMO, using Long Stride will allow to utilize that long time in PvP.
  4. As before - your only slash, occasionally add ~50% to it. Also, where else to put it? Flag? Why? I can’t see why forego some add dmg. Dmg is always good, no?

kyo’s build is very good party PvE and boss hunt. but this build will suffer very much at PvP and GvG. it is still playable at solo PvE.

PvE: 3.5 stars
PvP: 2 stars
GvG: 2 stars
Boss Hunt: 5 stars
