Lol… later a character 315 join the queue
The average will +25 level…
The other 4 character will die frequently…
Many MMO’s use a “mentor” system where you are automatically levelled either up or down. This could work and it would help a lot, at least for Missions and the Halloween event.
that sounds so familiar, I think I recommended it once, but sadly cant remember where
Rift and I think SWOTR use it, those are the only examples from my personal experience.
A mentor system would be a good temporary measure until the population increases.
This won’t help when we “reach” 4-person queue.
Plenty of games have it, it allows players from many different levels to experience the same instanced content. A very essential feature to avoid splitting the player base across levels.
Aaaaaand TOS is expected to have 450~600 levels. Yeah. If they don’t add more modern features like these we can expect queue times to get worse. Hue?
Unlimited dungeons when? at least leveling would be less painfully and would be more people on queques
A thought would be a combination of elements that would make the game interesting.
Events that would allow for a call to action style. Directing the flow of the community.
“Dark aura emits from dungeon. Draw your weapons and push back the darkness.”
Add item reward, drop rate increase. Doesn’t matter, as long as players are seeing some type of reward or incentive to go do the thing.
Obviously levels are to spread out, as other players accuratly pointed out. There will be dead zones…unless you add again, as other players have said.
Mentor system
average level
level zone.
These are my thoughts for playing a sad amount of mmos.
I suggest united servers. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Have to do a fix so mobs don’t gib lower level players but that is where things have to go if ToS keeps expanding levels.
That’s a good point. IMC’s initial plan could have worked if it maintained the population it had at launch, but unfortunately Tree of Savior isn’t Maplestory and didn’t have that level of success. There’s still hope of course, but until the population increases to the level of behemoth, they’ll need to think of alternate strategies.
relax guys.
keep calm n play tos~
im sure they are discussing this internally.
just need to keep funding this game long enough to see it comes true~
true love shall prevail~
just auto-level everyone to 200 like it happens in TBL and you’re done, now everyone is queuing much faster and enjoying the game more
How does the auto level work exactly? Any normalization for weapon level? Cause if you add that in… You’re basically set.
Albeit maybe a bit confusing for new players to walk into a mission with a R8 Dragoon that can gib a boss when they’re still a Wiz3–I think they can probably get over it for the convince of core players.

There are games, you choose the dungeon with drops you wish, and register to random daily.
When the dungeon starts, all the equipments and levels are harmonized around the random dungeon.
also the stupid Talt rewards should stop…
Most of us discussed that last year, not sure if it was after 1st CBT or 2nd, I even suggested a points reward system for it so people could buy unique costumes/hats from a points shop, but some started to complain about it and what not lol, /sarcasm start now we got Gacha. Yay! /sarcasm end
ToS is probably more difficult compared to some of the other examples provided. The easiest method would probably be a percentage damage/defence change based on stats. So higher levels and better gear would still be better, just not as much, and lower levels and worse gear wouldn’t be as bad.
