I was wondering that myself. Sure r7 was âharderâ than r6, but it wasnât hard. I remember doing only 300 per auto atk on my pure support/vendor cleric, but I still got to r7. The only reason I couldnât do 240 was âno one wanted to, because virtov wasnât craftable yetâ.
Well Wiz realy deserve a nerv in R8 they where way to strong in R7.
But what imc did wasn´t a nerv it was only stupid^^
Outside of the 2k mdef monster they still strong but with the mobs they are pretty useless in the new content.
(I can say the same about clerics in pvp but thats another Thread)

Tell me which class was carrying everyone in ET in r7.
Also, we are all aware that some mobs have too high of an mdef and everyone but you knows that it got addressed on KTOS and will get addressed here. Youâre the only one beating the dead horse and complaining over and over again. Even if you were doing 2-3k damage with each of your frost cloud ticks, youâll still complain because the mobs have over 300k hp. (thatâs what everyone elseâs R6 aoe skills are hitting for)

There were more ELEMEMEs carrying r7 ET than SR2.
You just depend on your R1 quick cast.
Got lucky today getting my rod to +15 and now at stage 3 Transcendence. Also I leveled my Dark Theurge to 85% from 80%.
I guess we all need at least 2.7k++ Matk to actually kill a pack with your most damaging spells.

How high you planning to transcend that rod? Cause % gem retrieved is rip TT
Probably 5 is the highest I would go and that would take 3 months from now. This rod should still be relevant in r9 at stage 5 transcendence.

Captures all the points beautifully, haha. Iâm going low CON (42), and still run the risk of hitting 1s to high Mdef mobs. Each class in an MMO has its own role, with swordsmen being tanks, wizards being AoE dps, archers being single target ranged dps, and clerics being⌠well, clerics.
Any argument involving counter-balancing for r7 âop-nessâ is fundamentally invalid, because the point is not to make the game âbetterâ for one class or other to âmake upâ for a previous rank, but to have each class balanced in offense/defense/utility depending on its classic MMO role.
Elememes are meant to be AoE, so it makes little sense that swordsmen are out-dpsing them on a majority of mobs.

The bar to good dps is a bit too high for an average wizard to have imo. Hopefully IMC does look into this though, how many players can actually hit that matk.

Even with the new upgraded values on head costumes and gems I donât think average wizards can deal decent damage to r8+ mobs. Hopefully IMC will reduce the Mdef values of new monsters by at least 50%.

well I guess imc wants you to have at least close to 4k matk to be back on the elememe status. shoutouts to delusionix for loaning me 300 blessed shards

So I would need 300 bloodshards? How much are blessed gems now on Telsiai? lol
Actually 300 shards for stage 4 and 5. 12+18 = 30. My guildmate had a lot of cubes so he loaned me the shards first. I owe him approximately 70m right now
