1 Banhammer \approx $10 Sales

So IMC would not create an anti bot YET because every banhammer can be approximately another 10$ Steam sales.
So when someone says "The banhammer has been deployed. ", the botter may cash out another 10$.
If that’s the case, then IMC should quickly respond and ban a botter to increase their sale in order to have funds for the anti-bot for the F2P release.
So maybe that’s why MAYBE they don’t have their anti-bot yet.

I hope I am right.
And this is certainly a disadvantage for us Exclusive Founders.

Then I guess it’s too bad that bots tend to spam the “refund” button every time they get banned and use stolen credit cards 99% of the time.

They have few programmers on team, Companion AI is totaly broken and play as Sorc/Necro/Hunter is hard and annoying. Lots of classes are broken since KCBT 3 and they didn’t fix.

They just launched the game with tons of bugs and inefficient servers. Do you really think they can deal with botters who ruined games with much more structure for years ?

Refund for botting…
I feel them, manage multiple/numerous refund requests from legit dissatisfied players and from multiple steam bot accounts that came from one source/customer location.

These botters use Russian $2.50 accounts and probably with fraudulent credit cards.

Yes.
they deal with botters as their source of income for every new bot account and more if only they were that quick to respond.
That’s the way I see it now. Hope I am wrong with that.

Oh my lawd, never knew it was cheaper than 10$.
But i guess $2.50 is still a sale.

I’m pretty sure it said refund is not available for the dlc when i bought it.
Not sure if it’s somehow still possible for them though.

They also did this after being screamed at for announcing that they don’t want to do a F2P launch for another 3 months. You know, all that “3 months in Early Access” thing they probably needed to patch the software and prepare the hardware. Not to discuss if the decision was sound at all (hint: it wasn’t by a long shot), they are probably trying to make it by the skin of teeth.

That said, we can expect the game to take shape around the end of June.

Nope. It clearly says: “This product is not eligible for refund”

Oh well, I guess they just use stolen credit cards then.

For the botters they can either use stolen cards -or- funds they have from sales of gold in other games, from their coffers…the 2nd is less risky.

Well yea, I’m not sure if imc still get the money, but I can guess they do.

Botters exploit chargeback fraud on stolen credit cards, which is very different from steam refunds.

IMC and Steam don’t get a dime from botters. They’re truly parasites in every way.
