Youtube Copyright issues

I’ve never had such issues with other games before, ToS is first one.

Every time I upload a stream on youtube it gets copyright infringement issues. Particulary from these 3 subjects:
Blue Tunes Records
Audioload Music
Iboga

I’ve listened to the “copyrighted” music and the one in my stream, it didn’t match at all. The audio track is suppressed by SFX sounds and I can’t hear it or very hardly. I’ve even tried playing without BGM, only SFX, and still I got copyright infringement from Audioload Music. I was like “wtf is this trolling me?”. I don’t understand why, and how this happens, but I’d like some answer from a reliable source such as forum moderator or admin. If this continues to happen, I won’t be able to upload to youtube, nor I will continue playing (probably) this game.

Most likely a problem from Youtube’s side if you still get copyright warnings with BGM turned off. If it still persists while fully muted then idk what they’re detecting. Don’t know how well Youtube’s support or dispute system is either.

I find funny you blaming the game company because you are streaming with your personal BGM and not the game’s own BGM (that is the impression I got from your post anyway).

I upload some videos, be it for bug report or for funny or mechanics testing and never got a warning, then again, I don’t change the BGM (it’s a pain in the ass for such short videos anyway).

As @LoliGod said, probably some psychotic youtube filter for certain musics.

What are you talking about? I am streaming this game BGM on a VERY low volume and it still gets copyright issues.
Also I did not blame company, but the copyright issue itself.

This is strange. I too stream my ToS plays but so far it only gives the tag “contains copyright content” but never any issues or mails from the 3 above companies.

@Nekorin, I get exact same “contains copyright content”, with this monetisation doesn’t work, also youtube is asking me to remove audio tracks though they are ToS official sound tracks.

Yo, it’s 100% youtube side not this game. I have seen many ToS videos turning BGM to the max and they do just fine, even for small youtuber. Try to solve your way through the bullshet youtube’s copyrights system.

I have seen much more bs stuff, for ex: a random dude online faked a copyright complain and told youtube he’s a lawyer. He got a random video taken down. Disgusting.

Here is what I got. Maybe if the stream content is used to gain some funds or anything then they wouldn’t allow it? It just says I don’t need to do anything.

Thanks for replies everyone. I’ll try making more videos without BGM music running. I’d like to avoid monetising audio copyright owner.

I’ve been uploading vids with the BGM off (sometimes SFX is off as well due to listening to music while playing sometimes) and haven’t had any copyright issue so far (@ 99 vids already and all monetized).

Same I got hit by this nonsense yesterday. Going to just off BGM.

This is an old issue that was never solved. I have old videos with the same thing, I just privated the video in the meantime. This issue only applies to symphonix BGM mainly btw

The Symphonix music is copyrighted so I avoid using those. Anything else by the TOS team (soundtemp, kevin, esti etc) are fine to use

Would be nice to have an addon that disables copyrighted music in game.
