Open notepad and drag the user.xml into it, you’ll be able to edit the text inside, so just change the resolution value to “2”, afterwards just close it and choose to save the changes.
It Really works! But communism doesn’t, haha!

Works for me… for now… but for how long nobody knows
that’s weird i don’t have this file user.xml how i am going to change the resolution o_O
managed to change tos to window mode…
click on server and connect,
immedately press X i.e close tos window
then the window asking u if u really wanted to close tos pop up…
waited 6-10 secs then click “cancel”
as soon as i clicked “cancel” that error that says Tos client will shut down due to some missing files will pop up…
and the client closed.
what did i do wrong ? 
Try waiting 1-2 seconds before pressing the X to close TOS window (worked for me)
still didn’t work for me
