At first I really liked AoE ratio, but now I really don’t think it’s necessary. With the exception of some Wizard skills, most skills have relatively small hitboxes that limit the amount hit on their own.
And I know you can smoosh enemies into a small area, but I don’t feel like it happens in enough scenarios for it to be justified as a reason not to change. Enemy AI is also very random even on it’s own, outside of the whole “run straight toward you” thing.
I think there would be better ways to limit enemies hit, like hitboxes, or by-skill basis.
Tbh though… I’m also tired of the constant changes too, and wish they’d settle on mechanics that work. But they’ll do whatever they want, which is fine I guess so
