South Park (anime, lol) has a game too and its great
HUmmm, Wakfu animation was pretty good, actually is the best animation in a fantasy medieval world that I have watched since Slayersā¦and that was like 8 years ago.
But in IMCās priorities list I think a ToS animation is right bellow the project of covering all of the officeās toilets with gold.
Maybe some cinematics like Riot does would be closer to reality. It can be a good way to promote the game (but not like the 3D ones, they look expensive).
meanwhile there is a huge debate amongst otakus on the late Monty Oumās RWBY as part of what they consider animu.
So what is that picture about? Monty Oumās RWBY? A game? or Anime?
youtube short 3d animation with anime designed characters with stereo type anime personalities which is getting an official japanese air in japan itself. which is sad as Monty is kill.
@Karjalainen
Dead*
@RWBY
There is a huge debate over this?
One would consider it simple.
A) It is clearly -at least- influenced by generic anime tropes.
B) It is clearly not made in Japan.
C) It is made in the Japanese cartoon STYLE known as Anime.
Simply put itās whether you think Anime is defined as a style or a label of origin.
i.e. Whether itās about the style of the cartoon or where it came from.
All in all, I think it should be a style. (thus, RWBY can be considered an anime!)
āAnimeā clearly made a mark on the history of the world as such, if you were to refute all else.
p.s. I never watched RWBY. It looked, sounded and still looks like generic stuff.
Animation interested me slightly but not to the point where I would watch it by choice.
Edit ; Since Iām off-topic, Iāll re-enter here with a redirection for the topic.
I am a bit confused by the title, now that Iāve looked it over.
āWould it be awesome if they make a ToS animation like RO.ā
- Are you asking if the production of that animation would be awesome?
- Are you asking if that anime would be awesome?
- Are you asking if that anime would be awesome for the game?
I meant a anime adapation would be awesome for the game.
This would be great ~
Hello⦠Kancolle got a anime tooā¦and the cell phone card game Rage of Bahamut?.. if small companies can get smart and find the right people (production committees) and right animation studiosā¦it can happen⦠well Kadokawa isent small but Cygames⦠they actually got a very good anime adaptation⦠the problem i see for ToS is that i think they need first some loreā¦light novels about the history, mangas about some generic shonen character that goes to dungeons to pick girlsā¦douijinshisā¦fan musicā¦fan arts⦠etc etcā¦i can tell when they allow the future players to translate their game that they are in the correct path⦠i dont see why ToS cant build a gigantic loreā¦but it takes time and some planning⦠it will have all the ro nostalgic fan base willing to trown money to the screens and a āānewāā fantasy world to develope⦠i think is all about the game developer plan and how we as the players can keep the hype for a old fashioned game in the hard mmorpg world.
I think an anime wouldnāt hurt.
It will probably make the game more popular, just like RO the animation did with RO.
And if you donāt like it, well you can still play the game^^
Although, after the anime you may see some weirdly named characters ingame (like in RO: Yuufa123, Roan33, or something)
No way, chinese cartoons are lame.
