disable pvp would be more prefered since making it less powerful would saying making god items, not god but hey, anything goes XD just hope for it haha

Still itâs âgodlyâ, i doubt anything different will be there after redâs.
Even some red items donât seem to be really powerful.
Normal < Blue < Purple < Red⌠Only 4 grades seems pretty low (comparing to other MMO)âŚ
Does the star system improve that?
Maybe adding a new legendary/unique grade for very high levels (req lvl 200+) in a future major update will be studied later.

they trying to get the idea of, even godly weapons or the most high rank-ed weapons and armors are not always the best, even they have their disadvantages bwahahahaha

lol, i meant some god weapons are specialised in specific uses, i donât see everyone using divine sword x6 in dota games XD
Keep in mind games with refine systems generally lean towards easier to obtain items because you will destroy enough of them your self. All the God items in RO used as examples were accessories or had abilities so powerful they either couldnât or didnât need to be refined. Iâm opposed to this, i feel like items such as these are out of place in refine system games.
Star isnât related to rarity(color) of item.
Itâs only show tier/level of item. (ex. lv1 = 1 star, lv15 = 2 stars, lv40 = 3 stars, etc.)
Yeah I saw that the number of stars isnât related to the rarity/grade.
But if stars are only a matter of weapon level like you said (lv1 = 1 star, lv15 = 2 stars, lv40 = 3 stars,âŚ), then STARS ARE USELESS.

Iâm more curious if there will be super rare items where you can literally keep count of how many there are in the server. For years, that was the case in RO where everyone knew exactly how many Megingjards were in existence and who owned each one of them. The only downside to that system is that over the years, naturally more and more people would acquire them to the point where it starts to destroy the balance of the game. Itâs one thing where a handful of people can build their characters around those god items. Itâs another when it becomes the norm to build around those god items.
see the problem is your refering to âgod itemsâ like it applies to any good item. âgod itemâ from RO was a specific type of item that was nearly impossible to get except for the best of the best guildsâ leaders. maybe 3-5 of them existed on the server when I played. they were like 10x stronger than the best items in the game (excluding god items obviously)
my bad, i think i said that wrongly, i meant those less than 10 ever existed in one server weapons over 2-5years, those kind of items doesnât mean itâd be OP in 100% all situations (unless they actually made one for ToS)
Godlike Equip is refering to the History behind Ragnarok tho and fit into the game perfectly - ToS wonât have âgodlikeâ Equip for sure but probably something exclusive for the best of the best Players (sounds cocky ya but well be the best and get rewarded right?)
Maybe some super special buff called âBlessing of the Goddessâ wich increase several stats accordingly to be âgodlike - likeâ until the start of the next âcastle siegeâ and different buffs exist according to wich castle(s) you conquer - this way everybody in the guild benefits from it - and other guilds will have an equal chance in the next castle siege because the buffs run out. Also the Server cannot be âfloodedâ by this benefit since it isnt permanent like the godlike equip was. And to be honest even if you couldn get your hands on one by playingâŚyour credit card couldâŚi have seen megingjard being sold for above 1000 Euro (years ago) - demand is high but not everybody is willing to sell them. Not to mention Megingjard a couple of MVP cards are worth above 2000 Euro already - at least on European server.
You know one of the reasons why mobas tend to last longer than mmorpgs? You know why WoW was considered a massive success? Itâs because there is no âsocial gapâ. Everybody has almost the same chance. Godly items, p2w item malls, duh. You donât want TOS to be just another mmorpg, do you?
This even the orange items in WoW were very obtainable. I donât mind good items requiring a lot of work but the requirements must at least be reasonable.
hmmmm godlike weapons inside the world of ToS, could only imagine a wood sword that wont forever break at this point haha~ unless there are godly weapons mentioned in the mythology used for this game, then maybe, just maybe
Maybe something like Diablo 2âs Wirtâs Leg can be an option, as Goddess of Madnessâ item 
Accessing to a insane secret place can be fun ^^
