The point of cafrisum isn’t the 12 earth damage…
The point it an ADDITIONAL damage and not just some bonus elemental damage
That mean cafrisum act like sacrement/enchant fire It give an additional line of damage that proc EVERY SINGLE ELEMENTAL BONUS DAMAGE you have
Soo cafrisum give 1 more hit of Arde(And other prorety weapon or armor / hair costume element proprety / sacrement / enchant fire / blessing / etc bonus elemental damage and that is quite alot once you stack 3/4 line of damage (You can get even more line for exemple with running shot)
Also it proc Toy Hammer Way faster(Can work for some build).

I though that double punch count as basic attack. My bad then
cafrisun set + mana-mana + sacarment + isbality = say bye bye with every demon types
the dmg boost is ridiculously that make your normal attack like 2 times stronger

Pardoner buffs are always present in towns or popular dungeon entrances. My main is an Ele 3 and yet I always buy those buffs before going on an adventure.
As usual, Enchant Fire and Sacrament can replace Cafrisun as temporary solution. Honestly, I prefer getting more def to stay and fight than a glass cannon.

Some builds get damage bonus from the set, i think AA builds would be, and as @PrinceMark make sure they are bots, i have a friend that is oracle and i think her build is AA, she was using cafrisun till her’s 190, not sure if she changed now.
If we consider only set bonus (not stat in specific pieces), I think all set bonus are useless except Lolopanther and Cafrisum lol. (IMO tho)
Maybe 2 or 3 pieces of Earth armor set kinda ok for +5 con and +10 stamina. I play swordsman and use 2 pieces of this set when dungeon /Rokas Leather/ +5 str Glove. Other than that still use Cafrisum for AA haha.
Abomation ring and necklace as a set may be worth until you have petamion.
Cafrisun for AA wont be taken of, never.
Its just my guessing, i don’t use cafrisun for long, not sure if it will benefit my QS3 Wugushi, i doubt it will at higher Lvs, earth set also have extra damage, but some say that the cafrisun damage scale with Lvs, not sure if it is or not.
I said AA because i am assuming it is (auto attack) but i can be wrong lol.
I won’t dwell much into this subject since i don’t use this kind of builds, if it is for those.
But yes, the confirmation of bots part is to be taken seriously.
I think itemization in this game as a whole is pretty bland.
I’m sort of torn with Cafrisun set. 1 side of me thinks the only thing thats stopping this set from being OP is the fact its only lvl15 and you have the weigh the pros vs cons as there’s no other armor comparable for DPS in an Autoatk build. The other side maining a Chaplain ofc wants better gear.
Also @PrinceMark Earth Set has a completely different bonus and AFAIK doesnt work the same as Cafrisun.

I just checked list of sets and majority of them could easly get Cafrisun set “additional ele dmg” in place of some useless/medicore stuff they give
- Earth Cloth/Leather/Plate Armor Set (lv40) - get rid of this: “Gives additional Earth property damage when receiving Earth property attacks” (I wonder if Devs are aware that earth isn’t the only element in this game so this set effect is super super situational) and add “additional ele dmg”. Additional Earth dmg to Earth set could fit perfectly
- Riena Cloth/Leather/Plate Set (lv 75) - add two more items to that set and add “additional ele dmg” as 3 or 4 piece effect
- Legwyn Family’s Cloth Armor Set (lv 120)- get rid of this: “1% chance of recovering 200 SP for 5 seconds when attacked by a Devil-type enemy” (1% is a pathethic joke… also it require player to be attacked by Devil-type only) and add “additional ele dmg”. Additional Holy dmg could fit it this set is suppose to be “anty devil/anty dark” themed
- Roxona items (lv 170) - the most popular items and they aren’t even made as SET with additional set bonuses. Give them some cool effect and throw “additional ele dmg” as 4 piece buff. For example Ice or Fire
- Virtov Plate/Leather/Cloth set (lv 220) - get rid of second “Ice Property Attack” effect from 3 items and put there 4th piece effect. In place of 4th piece effect give “additional ele dmg” for example Lightning since it’s strong vs Ice element so it would fir the “anty Ice” theme
- Lolopanther Set (lv 270) - change 3rd piece bonus from “Earth Property Attack” to “additional earth ele dmg”.
this way basic attack/auto attack based classes have some progression in new gear than just running in Cafri set whole game
Swordsman can’t build around basic attacks, unless you want to be bad i mean.
Only Barb, Corsair and Doppel have something worth for basic attacks. that being each with only 1 buff, all of them being bad. (Doppel buff is great, but you dont use the attack speed, just the % extra atk to spam skills, lol)
QS3, Chap and [Pyro+Linker+Chrono] are the only classes i have ever seen being viable for basic attacks.
Then you’re making every gear the same exact thing as Cafrisun. While I’d want more diverse effects for gear as they get higher, making everything Cafrisun’s relatives would literally kill any need for armor considering if that happens and you get Legwyn and Roxana there’s no need to bother with Virtov and Lolopanther: You’d be tanky and have that ability.
Plus only certain things are reliant on auto attacks in this game. The ironic thing is that most of them are either popular or meta. If they shift, so does Cafrisun’s dominance.
I prefer seeing more damage reduction gear or status resist items than 10-15% more DPS from auto attacks. A dead Savior is an useless Savior who can’t deal any damage at all
do not worry… monster card will save your day. just wish that there is a monster card that has equivalent of cafrisun buff.
there isn’t. There is already list of all cards and effect they give. Unless Devs decide to change few cards so they would give cafri 4set effect… which I doubt they would do but it would be actually nice thing.

for some reason, sometimes i feel really sad for the staffs that are here. I mean every little damn thing is been called out and tagged every single time for either very minor stuffs or some silly suggestions. THEN again post on the WRONG section. From a General Discussion post turn into a Suggestion post. really?
People complain this game too hard, they tweak it to make and accommodate for the benefit of the people/masses that feel the game is “hard”
After that, implemented added, people complain again, THIS GAME EZPZ. then say NEED MORE CONTENT, MAX LEVEL, IIDK WHAT TO DO.
If not then this will surface, “comparing against Ragnarok Online”. Then again, this game aint a remake of RO. facepalm
