Who is "that person"?

I don’t read most dialogues in the game, but I assure you that reading the main quest ones is totally worth it, you guys should try it .

As PrinceMark mentioned, at high level main quests the NPCs will explain why the demons exist and what is their goal/obsession.

I found the Orsha questline to be slightly more enjoyable story-wise than Klaipeda’s.

They both still suck balls though. The premise is just as generic as it gets…unless there’s a plot twist later on, which won’t really matter anyway since it’s so dull until then that most players probably just spammed space to get over it.

IMO stories in MMOs have to acknowledge you’re not the only one playing this game, you’re just another warrior. So when everyone treats you as their savior and the chosen one who speaks to the goddesses, it’s a bit silly honestly.

They actually treat you as the revelator.

Laima herself (actually through the revelation slates) states that there are many revelators around (even some NPCs are revelators) but the actual chosen one, which is you, is hidden among them all.

The problem is that Laima says that to every single player…what player is the real one!?

Now I want a plot twist where the goddesses are evil and they talk the player up to commit their evil deeds.

And then you get to smack them all together in the final dungeon

At certain point it made me think that the goddesses are actually evil.

One thing I like about the plot is that even though the goddesses state that thei are good and the demons are evil, things should not be treat as black and white in ToS.

That’s as far I should go without spoiling the story.

ok, i got it guys.
no spoilers.

One thing I’ve noticed with quest NPCs is that if they look suspicious (like there’s this dark feel to them) they are likely turncoats/traitors.

I wish you luck in getting there  Be careful and don’t die too much.
