Jyst think about this;
The game was announced as free to play, after an eternity a “soon OBT” announce come… let’s think about the meaning of “beta”: it’s a period of time were people can test the game… so CBT means asking for a key that will be delivered to a limited amount of players while in OBT, the word “OPEN” means everyone can jump in.
IN case this was a BTP game i could understand why the people would need to pay for the game since they will have access afterwards like everyone else… but this is a F2P (was)… so basically TOS OBT is more CBT the the CBT since well… as far as i know noone had to pay for the CBT but they do for the OBT!?
As far as i’m concerned there could be only one reason for this… IMC DOES NOT TRUST THE GAME!
If they did there was absolutly no need for this “strategy” making the game F2P, then raising the hype with the soon making an announcment for OBT thus making the players want the game more then making it B2P in their faces.
THey think the game will fail so they’re trying to take their money back with these cheap tricks as fast as possible… that’s the only explanation.
And no, don’t tell me “it’s going F2P in 3 months” when 3 months mean that A LOT of players will have left the game already even after paying, new games probably will have come out etc.
So GG IMC, as far as i’m concerned you officially killed ToS with this stupid marketing move… now you’r going to lose all the players that will dislike the game in these 3 months, all the players that those players will tell not to play, all the people that totally lost all trust in you, and all people that will go play on other games for these 3 months…
way to go
