White screen Error crash after pressing play

Dear people,

I hope you guys can help me out with a fix here
I am having some problems when i want to start the game

I thought i fixed this problem once i deleted all .xml files in the release folder the game worked for one day and now everything i get this crash.

Here is what happens,

I press play it loads to 100% then opens up a white screen and get the following error.

imcinput::Init(gecfg::GetTopLevelWindowHandle(), gecfg::GetWindowHandle())

I figured out somehow the game keeps removing the user.xml and the user_c.xml
i once again deleted all the xml files and verified the game cache now it’s restored
i still wonder why i gets removed all the time?

Any idea’s anyone i still get this crash everyday

Im not sure about this.
It could be related to windows visual program ? It is needed to play ToS.

Well i am here to post my results,

I followed that guide and it might have worked… been clean running ToS for yesterday evening and today while before after a gaming for a couple of hours in the evening the next day i would have these crashes.

So thanks for that alot.

What i have done in Total that hopefully fixed my problem:

1: Followed this guide that @greyhiem posted

2: I updated my Videocard Driver GTX 1070 it was 4 Month out of date.

3: In the Nvidia Geforce Experience program where it automaticly optimize your games click for ToS Turnback
so i does not optimize the game.

now the game still works for me hopefully it will continue running smooth

Hey guys,

I am back i did not play ToS for a couple of days and when i returned i had the same White screen crash again
Nothing even works no mather what i try…

The only thing that works for me for 1 day if i delete all .XML files in the folder then restart my pc then verify the game cache then the game works for 1 day but when i try the game the next day same White Screen Crash and i have to repeat all this again…
