Which gem is better for armor?

i used the same armor set+aspersion that usually 1dmg blue spion archer’s spiral arrow, facing red spion archer’s in 1 second it makes me choose between respawn or use soul crytal

level difference does hurt.

I am using virtov +5 full set 900 3 plate ( def) red spion hits me 1-30 at same level.

i think grynas greave is better than virtov plate boot because it has 2 slot and higher evasion, IMO. virtov plate gauntlet and boot doesnt boost pdef, only gives block penetration (good for ET) and block

Use Hasta for boots if you ever get the chance to use it.

I hate virtov greaves too but I am forced to use it for the minor bonus

For current content best to be around 15~20k hp then start using Blue/Yellow gems

my sr is literally storming through 220-270 with virtov @_@…

I don’t think Virtov is worth it. Not that there’s anything wrong with having or using it, but Grynas then Lolopanther is more time and money efficient.

it’s not worth it now. Virtov used to be cheaper than grynas at my server when it was flooded ( 2-2.5m per piece) now its 7m

I meant to farm, you could farm it much earlier than you actually needed it.

Ah yea. Well not of much other than the base hp it provides you with so you can opt for yellows instead of red.

Up to Grynas I’d still go with Red minus boots which should be blue. PATK isn’t much to worry about til R8 which is where Lolopanther should be gained, then switch to yellow. But both are fine options, and if Lolopanther is going to be skipped then Grynas should go yellow.

I put lvl 7 yellows on my shade dancer/skirt. Now that they are +10 with the gem, they have more defense then the base lolopanther set and better stats. But the sockets aren’t empty like on the lolo.

game is not currently installed. something along the lines of 70 evasion, 30 crit resist, 30 dark property resistance per piece. But the catch 22 is base they have 4 phys def only. So the gems and + level give it the toughness it needs to be viable, and great reliable armor

So theorically its better to get .~.-CASINO-.~. lucky with briquetting getting -12% to + 12% def per potential and then stack it with transcendence than putting gems in. o_o.

and for boots? blue gem is the best?

yes blue gems is best for boots.

Weapon: Red/Yellow
Armor: Yellow
Boots: Blue
Gloves: Skill Gems
