Which class you will make in the next iCBT2?

Sorc is an SP drain I heard. I mean it’s super cool to summon demon bosses but all that SP down the drain hurts :cry: Necro seems to suck because of the corpse system too… Wiz is hard (not really but hehehe)

But since you asked my opinion, i’ll try to make a unique build for you, an iEden exclusive if you will (doesn’t mean it’s good tho hahahaha).

Here you go: Awesome (Not Really) Monk Build

Keep in mind that i made this by reading the skills descriptions only and i tried to take a path that i think most people won’t (i’m pretty sure no one will). Let me break it down for you anyways:

When you look at the build you’ll notice that will be a pain in the ass to level up, but you might actually have something good going on here (highly doubt it but who knows).

Cleric C1 - Heal provides a little damage at early stages while Safety Zone protects you from incoming attacks. Deprotected Zone to decrease enemies’s defense therefore raising your damage and Cure because, why not?

Priest C1 - Monstrance to reduce enemies’s evasion and physical defense so you can cripple bosses really hard, just use deprotected zone + this. Blessing to get additional damage. Resurrection because you know, people die eventually.

Priest C2 - Monstrance to cripple even more those morons. Blessing for even more damage. Sacrament for additional damage, elemental bonus damage on certain monsters and because angels use it so, must be good.

Priest C3 - Blessing once again because at this point you’re a god. Sacrament again to boost up that additional damage. Revive because sometimes people die and you can’t help them as fast as your team needs you to, i’m pretty sure you can cast it on yourself too so, free resurrection!

Monk C1 - Iron Skin to make them hit themselves. Double Punch for damage and when boosted with all the stuff you already have it will become even more op. Palm Strike just to have another damage dealing skill to use…

Monk C2 - Iron Skin to make the skill lasts longer and increase the damage. Double Punch to increase the damage and finally Energy Blast aka Shinku Hadoken to desintegrate stuff.

What you think about this build hahahaha, hope you liked it.

I just found on ToSBase that Monk has an attribute that basically makes Golden Bell a Safety Zone for your party… so fricken useful for bossing when it becomes harder.

I would assume so. I mean Golden Bell itself blocks off ALL attacks for as long as you are channeling it.

That is true. But the costume is too cute so I think that motivates me a lot xD.

There’s a lot of testing we need to do.

Sacrament works as any other attack buff, but Blessing is a bit odd. I has a limited number of times it can be applied to an attack/spell (increases with level and attribute). I did see a video where it was applied to Heal and each tile hit twice, but I couldn’t really tell how it effected the counter. I’m unaware of how it works with something like Energy Blast, though. Might have to look through Steparu’s videos again.

Then again, I suppose I’m not really going for a pure damage build. Looking through my plan again, this duality of Support and DPS really appeals to me.

I still can’t think of a good reason to use Finger Flick over Energy Blast, but I’m going that route anyway out of stubbornness more than anything.

you can still be pushed or dragged out of your SZ

and there are skills that can removed/reverse SZ

Nope. You get a costume as a reward for the class change quest. You can equip it or not :smiley:

You get a costume in your inventory.

Swordman X3 And the rest, I just like to be a Swordman using onehand sword while holding umbrella as a sub weapon.

No idea to be honest. I really want to play Dievdirbys because the diev is the kind that is most like the Bard from Ragnarok (my main). I got a dievdirbys lv 80 on this beta and feels like this class needs a good buff to be usefull… and looks like IMC is making things on these patchnotes, sooo i guess im repeating class…

Anyway, if they implement these “new” jobs (i want to believe :cry: ) will try that “pied piper” :stuck_out_tongue:

Btw “pushing” skills will be of vital importance in pvp since the safety zone can be shared between multiple characters.

you wont be the only one making a paladin :wink:
