Answering the OP, I just thought about going back to Pyro on my rank 2, and for sure NOT playing Thaumaturge again… >.>
So it will be Wiz > Pyro > Psy 3 > Necro
maybe a monk , or a monk C: 
If we get higher rates then Corsair or even Cataphract (considering they got buffed and maybe they aren’t bad now), otherwise a support class, probably Dievdirbys.
I might also make a Cryomancer, but since I find the base aspd on Wizard classes insufferable I doubt she’ll get much farther than my iCBT1 Pyromancer :v
The next time I play, be it CBT or OBT, I’ll focus more on a Wizard or Cleric class.

Healers are good since potions have cooldown, but they are not severely needed for gameplay and your heals will be good later only if you increase INT.
Also, Sadhu uses MATK and Monk uses PATK, and idk if you can Monk skills while out of the body… so I don’t think it would be such good idea to mix both.
You could go Priest 2 for Sacrament, which also increases DPS, or Paladin, if you chose to go PATK path.
If you want MATK, I think Diev owl statue uses MATK, or go Priest 2 too, before Sadhu.
I think there will exist dungeons that will be impossible to end without a tank and a healer… without a party … ok… you can solo the normal maps… but I Hope that comes new dungeons
Next important update patch will include the following:

Peltasta -> Hoplite. Been playing Bokor this CBT, so I’m gonna try another branch. Did try archer for a bit before the servers went down, but I think ranged playstyle is not really for me in this game (unless they improve mouse controls). I feel the game was clearly designed to play with the keyboard.
As @BloodHeartless said, Clerics may be better for instanced dungeons. Also their Heal is usefull for PvP.
You want survivability for PvE or PvP?
PvE I could say Monk path would be better cause you would raise DEX and evade everything but magic. Then you have Paladin buff to decrease magic damage and Safety Zone.
For PvP I think it would be Sadhu, cause you can use Safety Zone to protect your body while you are off attacking people and Heals would be stronger.
Sadhu doesn’t seem to benefit from Divine Might, so going for Priest would be better.
Can your spirit get the divine might buff by walking over it? If so, a boosted astral body explosion might do a ton of damage.
I have no idea, lol.
I’m probably gunna make my Pyromancer all over again just with different skills but I’m probably also going to try a Hoplite because mobs want the staby stab.
Since you want to be more supportive, Priest would be better because of the party buffs, that also increase DPS. Cleric C2 is more selfish.
For what I know, Sadhu’s basic attacks become magic damage and are quite strong when out of the body, so they will be based on you MATK instead of PATK. Taking a Rod + Shield may be better than Mace, which increase damage and healing from Heal and Cure too.
Blessings and Sacrament gives some boost too. (tho i don’t know when they start to fall off)
I really want to do a Thaumaturge named Bigby. Or a Squire named Soup ■■■■… I’d put a food stand up in town and make only soup…
cleric class. was thinking about C3 cleric…but now debating whether i should go priest C3 or not.
Both of those will end up being good dps nonetheless.
If you go for Monk, that is the usual Monk path people take with DPS in mind. As for Sadhu, they are also the class people pick for magical damge, but with Krivis and/or Bokor more often. However, Priest has 2 buffs that increase damage, so you are not losing that much and your Heal also damages enemies if no one needs it for healing.
Support Wiz will only ever use Energy Bolt, Earth Quake, and Magic Missile 
(Wiz C3 > Thaumaturge C3)
Tank Swordsman will only ever use Thrust, Bash, Umbo Blow, Rim Blow, Shield Lob, and Butterfly (Swordsman > Peltasta C3 > Squire C2)

BTW did they nerf Linker or not because I remember reading it was somewhere but I’m not sure.
I’m hopping that next one would be an OBT so I can play with more friends
