Which build would you prefer in your party/guild [Chrono]

Just trying to decide here if ChronoCryo or ChronoLinker

  • Cryo C3 > Chrono C3
  • Cryo C1 > Linker C2 > Chrono C3

It’s not about PvP or PvE (normal grinding), I’m trying to guess which one is better for ET, WB, Guild Missions/Raids/Bosses

Cryo 3 for sure. Frost Pillar help tons when mobbing, especialy when there are Archers and mages as they can be Hard to group together properly for the tank

It depends on the content you’re doing. Overall I prefer Cryo 3 for endgame content.

I prefer a Pyro1Link2Chrono3

I clicked Cryo/Chrono kind of expecting a gross amount of people to have said Linker/Chrono, I was both shocked and pleased.

So, while leveling, if we have a taunt in our group, I’d be more inclined to say Linker/Chrono because it tends to greatly increase group damage and clear time.

That being said:

A) In any late-game content, Cryo3 replaces the need for a tank, in both PVE and PVP Cryo3s are super strong.

B) Joint Penalty is currently broken, in the “good” way. When it’s fixed, all of these Chrono/Linkers are gunna be super sad and rolling Enchanter in hopes of at least becoming a money class.


All-in-all, definitely Cryo/Chrono. Linker/Chrono is pretty much on par with most Peltastas; they’re super nice for leveling, but nobody is going to want or need you at endgame.

Why Pyro1 ?

I voted for Cryo, mostly because it’s amazing in both PvP and Guild.

I’d like to see more Thaumaturges in this game too, mostly for the costume :relieved:.

Because of the extra line of damage from enchant fire that help the auto attack reliant classes in my group.

Although i myself never benefitted much from it.

I actually forgot to add: For personal reasons, i prefer pyro1 because of its ability to let the linker be of some use when there is nothing linkable around the boss (for an example, that golem in the siluiai). It may use its fireballs for this purpose (the link will break in short time, but the debuff will stay on) and not only this, it adds a line of damage to auto attack reliant classes, like Chaplain and Quarrelshooters. (But it takes up 1 buff slot)

But Ice Wall works the same way

JP can kill the Ice Wall instantly, but not Fireball. JP was nerfed so that the debuff is gone when there’s only 1 target linked

I have a linker friend, he said that the debuff would remain even after the fireballs would be killed o_O7
