From what I know, the event box will be removed so level up quickly!!!

I actually find this not being included really weird in particular. 
So far it has always been the first patch of the month.
Not that I mind this tho… 
does the costume looks the same on all classes?
No, costume is class-specific. You will get a package when completing the event. The package will give corresponding costume based on the class of the character uses it.
