The fastest way is probably to craft high-demand equips from recipes and them sell them at a much higher price than the materials you used. Obvs you need to have an eye for what weapons give you a fair amount of profit 
Other people farm at places like Dina Bee Farm or target world bosses, if they’re a high enough level and/or strong enough to keep up. These are less merchant-y. Farming = more reliable, world bosses = better hope you’ve got good luck.
But to be fair, these high values aren’t because people have tonnes of silver on them, but because of the silver they’ve spent continuously since they started playing. It goes through your hands really quickly but when you look at your inventory you realise just how costly all your stuff is.

1.xxx mil. I spend all of my saving until level 8x and could not get Arde Dagger.
idk the exact amount but i have a petamion and arde dagger
