What type of gamer are you? (For ToS)

You know, at my core I am a PVE player but am not shy to the PVP in a game here and there. I personally love to run dungeons and explore while being awarded for that said exploring. There seems to be a lot of MMO’s where the exploration aspect of the game is pointless and I really hate that.

In RO I was playing mega hardcore on several official servers. I have become a father since and I will not be able to spend all my time on a game. So I think my mindset will be “How can I play less and still be competitive.”

Perhaps I will find a top tier guild that carries me in exchange for an experienced Gamer xD

My style of gaming is bringing together tough individuals and forming a powerful guild. I love leadership roles and socialising, so we’ll see where that takes me !

Even something as short as an hour and a half per day can make you stay competitive in an MMO as long as you are consistent and you make the most out of it.
Also I’m pretty sure you can get a lot out of the Cash Shop in that regard, so if you have a stable income to spend in a free to play game you are guaranteed to be competitive even if you play once a week.

I haven’t seriously looked into all of the classes yet,but I tend to like classes like archers/gunslingers;things like that. This one has a good variety I’ve heard,so I may experiment more this time!

Either way my play-style doesn’t change much at all.Start of game I level about as fast as most others, then I shift focus on a guild/group to join [maybe I’ll have that decided before I play this time] as I love to play with others in a reasonably sized group. The entire time I also like to keep current with cash shop specials/items,one because I love to have cute characters, two because I like to rack up money in any game I play! I don’t know why but that’s just how I am.

soloer :kissing:
always solo…if not, i just afk

Considering what I have seen about TOS it will be more of a quester rather than a grinder and as such not as time consuming as RO (I still tremble at the thought of farming 2 Zerom Cards).

I have also played WoW in a somewhat competitive Raid Guild (Top 50 Germany) which has ironically temporarily dissolved due to our healers getting pregnant  They somehow managed to pull the raid back together even with kids.

Other than being a wannabe guild master, I wasn’t really much if I look back at my RO days. I was a squishy wizard, so I couldn’t really go out and fight really tough monsters/bosses on my own. I was too much of an egotistical antisocial teenager back then to even think about grouping up with people, let alone socialize at all. Even as a level 97 wizard, I couldn’t kill a lot even if I wanted to - I was outclassed by Sages/Priests/Hunters. The only people I could reliably kill were Swordsmen class people back in the day.

For now I’ll just build myself heavy PvE so I’ll be able to hang out really far from the main city, perhaps establish base out there.

I’m a casual player, usually PvM, and I like to play support. When games have crafting or animal taming that we can sell, I enjoy that a lot. With ToS making quests hidden, I think I’ll try exploring too. :relaxed:

Yeah that’s the spirit. I want to get a gajillion silver and hold the auction house ransom, so I can coerce the developers into enabling open world pvp and then systematically kill everyone with my +billion atk sword. I’m going crazy-disgaea-apeshit on all these mofos.

I’m more on a PVE gamer. Not into much PVP. But when it comes to guild wars, i usually participate. Only problem is work, I can’t play all the time. So more on PVE,farming, doing quests rather than PVP. See you guys ingame

I will play with friends while trying to find a lot of hidden stuff.

PVP! And since this game can easily be played casually like RO, i’m most probably going to spend a lot of time sitting in the cities with my friends as well.

I am a tester, I go from game to game and test them has much as I can. I like giving feedbacks on my experience. I have been in many betas and alphas. I just love the thrill of discovery.

But I will linger a while longer on ToS since I have played RO for around 12 years now.

I’m kind of in the middle, I enjoy PvE elements whilst liking the concept of PvP as well.
I like to solo things mostly, just to become even stronger in PvE.
I’m more competitive in PvP though. I believe I fit in the hardcore class of gamers.

If this game has a really active and friendly community, then I’m going in hardcore.

When I played RO as a kid I didn’t understand MMO’s that much. In fact, my dancer had like 10 strength because I first started the game thinking that strength = damage. And I never made it to 99 either.

Not this time. I want to have an awesome character! Sweet gear! I wanna win at PVP!

Im going to dabble in a bit of everything, and actually try to be more social with this MMO, instead of just sticking to playing with just my friends, or keeping to myself when they dont play. I probably will lean more torwards PvP though, but we shall see.

I hope there’s alot of end game content for PvE players like me.
