Depends on the game. But I think imma gonna be PVE/explorer enthusiast in this game since the game looks pretty large in terms of areas and there’s a lot of place to explore. Oh, not to mention you can search for hidden treasure in maps! Perfect for my Corsair ufufufu.
oh, yeah. you have the right person =v=
I’m on the tosgame forums too. lol with the same name and icon @w@
I’ll probably just end up grinding via PvE before anything. I’d love to do late game PvP with a guild I’ll establish as well to balance myself. I’m thinking that perhaps I’ll make a few good friends out there. If not…I’ve got a teddy bear to keep me company. ;w;
Too funny Tsugumi! xD
For my reply,
If there’s any part of the game where 20 people are in need of 7h healing, I want to be there with my cleric deciding who lives and who dies
Or do nothing in towns.
A game is one (or more) of a few things in my books.
It’s a competition, a sport.
It’s a past time, a hobby.
It’s a community, a social experience.
It’s an addiction, a habit.
I believe more or less everyone fits into these in one or more ways.
For ToS, I am unsure.
I do however, appreciate the first and third for most MMORPGs.
A sport and a social experience.
I would even dare say the third is the most important. Makes the vast majority of players feel welcome and encourages them to stay in the game every day.
The ‘Secret Korean’ haha
No you don’t, heals are placed on the ground :P.
I normally just focus on pve and avoid pvp at all costs…but since pvp is one of the more fun things to do at endgame while everyone waits for expansions, I figure I’d try a little bit of everything this time.
I want to take advantage of as many aspects of the game as possible. Merchanting, crafting, cosmetics, raiding, to really deck out our chacaters it’s more efficient doing it all yourself!
I am a little bit of everything… but… I don’t like playing alone.
Awww, what a shame T-T
I’ll have to go creative with the placements then xD
hope i can meet you in pvp i follow the same rule, to rule you all, no mercy in pvp.
I’m a PvE player to the core, I really enjoy boss battle or lurking in deep dungeons for days.
Team up and beat up big baddies! or become a permanent resident of a dungeon and maybe even become a dungeon tour guide!
I used to like PvP, but I’m more into PvE lately.
But to be honest, I dont define myself as a real gamer :
When I play a game that I enjoy, I usually love fiddling the game code : defeat the game protection, code funny stuff with the game such as APIs for in game variables / chat / UI events, test the security of the client/server by forgering my own packets, create bots for doing stupid stuff (machine learning , etc). Tldr; I like modding the client the way I’d like it to be.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like cheating (I prefer reporting the vulns), but I love knowing exactly what happens behind the scene, what bytes are sent and received when I press a button in game. It feels so good, I don’t know why and I know it’s against the rules, but I can’t help it.
If someone feels the same, please contact me so we can have fun together
That’s pretty interesting, I know someone who likes the same things as you.
There aren’t many players who enjoy figuring out the exact 1’s and 0’s of how a game works, but those people tend to create the coolest stuff for the game. Like RSX for Ragnarok, cool map designs and tools n such. We also get the most information from your kind, knowing frame data on skills, exact cool down and cast timers for every skill and so on.
I will most likely have a single character where I focus them the most on PvP. Xsin all over again
Im more of an achiever and leaning on PvE, lore, hidden stuff ^^
Still gonna enjoy all the partying though.
Prob 2-3 char. 1 for solo, and 1-2 for social activities. Dunno about PvP yet, not much of a fan…
Just fill out that wikia with fun facts and lore we will never find and youll get a reputation equal of a top PKer anyway~
I think I’m hardcore social/PVE type. I wonder if there’s a type called “Hardcore party PVE” type, cause I’ll totally be that for sure. I remember long long ago in iRO when we had to actively make friends and join a stable almost long-term party just for grinding and farming mvp minions for exp… Gosh I miss those times… It’s not the same as random dungeon party thing where random people just get together for a dungeon and that’s it after that. That really sucks. That totally discourages anyone from making friends…
I’m also looking forward to the social aspect of ToS… Partying with our circle of friends is something I hope will happen! =)
Not into PVP. GVG with close friends is quite ok though.
