I love the one from PSX.
That one too is nice, played on PS2.
Other that i like is Valkyrie Profile (PSX, and NDS first one i think).
I feel like playing Chrono Trigger again lol.
Personally I prefer Grandia 1 over 2 but both have an interesting story and always loved the battle system. One other game I love a lot would be Legend of dragoon. I really wished they had made a sequel or a remake of that one.
Chrono Trigger is a great game. Bought it on wii since I hadnĀ“t played it earlier

Tales of eternia is I think the best among tales (old) series. The other tales on ps2 is kinda meh~

ik that feel, I doesnāt own any of the Tales of-games myself, so had only the chance to play the early parts owo

I really want to play again roronin kenshin game made for snes(i played it like 6 years ago), but i couldnāt find any ! I think it was a homebrew, but it had so many contents, so much things to do, and the battle was incredible. It was just like a ps3+ game on snes with 16-bit grafx,
Now, iām playing visual novel more than JRPG :C . Just finished āEden* they were only two, on the planetā yesterday, Very hearthwarming and sad story
now that Void finally got a new update, Iāll probably play Void Elsword more and works on that Dancing Flame Weapons title + new cap for my main (IS XD) owo

I do 100% recommend it, all the steam users review who played it recommend it as well. You will like it and even after finishing the game, you will have no regrets of playing this beautiful game. If you donāt skip the voice acting during dialogues, you will have around 12 hours of reading. Well, not my favorite but it definitely left an impact on me and i will forever remember the story of this tiny girl and the dying planet, of course the main character too. :C
I recommend it, if you are still not sure, iām someone who played a lot of english VN such as Muv Luv, Rewrite, Ever 17, Remember 11, world end economica, narcissu 1 and 2, planetarian, grisaia no kajitsu, hoshizora no memoria, vocaloid, g senjou no maou, little busters, steins gate, sharin no kuni, saya no uta, if my heart had wings, dengeki stryker, true remembrance, ayakashibitoā¦ and a lot more XD
Only jrpg iām playing at the moment is Dragon Quest 8, mobile version of course, where the grind doesnāt matter because iāll only be playing for like 10-20 minutes each session.

I assume you know of this,but one of my favorites is the 999 series! Have you played them? Really great VNās that tugged both my heart strings and my brain power! Very good games with a third game confirmed.
hmā¦ Iāll keep this Eden in my mind than, since Iāve never played any sorts of VN before (though I might, since my best friend managed to clear the misunderstandings I had about VN XD)

@Jochira people often have misunderstanding about VN. All they think about is eroge erogeā¦ But even tho some of them are eroge that doesnāt mean the story isnāt extremely good. And i have to say here that Visual novel convey feelings way better than any anime out there, Muv Luv (talking about alternative) is by far the best english one out there with its cinematic interface, complex deep story and animation even tho it is considered an eroge. Visual Novel are often out first and then get adapted to anime, that was the case with clannad and little busters for example.
Anyway, you are going to like Eden but please bear in mind that you need patience before everything unfold so play till the end! If you are not aware, a lot of Visual Novel have aspect of jrpg, for example baldr sky or Kamidori Alchemy Meister. (that means the story could be influenced by the victory/defeat of some battles)

If you played 999 series, i assume you know Danganronpa. Also if you like those type of visual novels, i definitely recommend the infinity series by KID such as ever17, remember11 and I/O.
If my heard had wings has great design but the story was kinda so-so personally.
But anyway, this thread is about jrpg and krpg, we shouldnāt be talking about VN xD
