I think “heal” is very nice skill in the game
Can do very high damage and save for life
That only “cleric” have this skill in game
Cleric - is common if you are aiming to do every content
Swordsman - there is a known build rodmurmnobi which is boss melter and just swap some ranks for PvP focus
Archer - is pretty good as well for. I know someone made build around wugufletch mergen for bossing and do solmiki.
Wizard - Elememe is common but guarantee even in R9 also for every content. Or play around with some ranks like chronoknosomething for PvP
if u want PVP cleric u gotta go after heavy hitting circles and certain CON as well as Murmillo
Shino-Murmillo has good damage both in PVP and PVE… ALWAYS
Resurrection: can only be used once.
Revive: while it is amazing, it can’t be up all the time. So while it’s a bother, if you play smart, you can get over it (smart people usually CC them in order to waste the Revive)
Krivis has NO immunity, you meant Dievdirbys… The statues don’t last long and can be destroyed. I don’t see how they’re that annoying since they’re static so you can avoid them pretty easily unless you got cornered, of course. Ausrine is a true bother though, that’s true.
Oracle’s debuff immunity will be nerfed, yet it isn’t OP to start with. It has a count (you can only be protected against 8-12 debuffs, then it disappears) and it only protects against level 1 debuffs.
Your last “arguement” works for everybody, and for every magical classes.
Anybody with a good transcended gear will be OP. The only difference is that Clerics can get away with less work. They won’t be OP without a highly enhanced/transcended gear, but since they’ll have support, protection, heal or something like that, they can manage something.

Nobody will ever agree with me because all they care about is damage but I’d say Cataphract. If there was a list of all the best skills in the game in order made by a reasonably intelligent person, Cataphract would take up 4 of the top 50 slots, AT LEAST. They would also take up at minimum 1 of the top 10, potentially 2 depending on how much you forsake PvE, and every single skill on Cataphract deserves top 100.
On top of all that it is a Rank 4 class. That means you can go C3, and then go C3 of something else or you can get Cataphract 3 and a Rank 8 C2 class. Compare to other amazing classes like Druid, or PD, you have to make real choices, R8 classes are made to be stronger than previous classes but C3 is also intended to be good to, so do you wanna C2 of Rank 8 or Druid 3? Do you want PD 3 or do you want at least 1 circle of a R8 class.
For Cataphract it’s a no brainer they got everything they could ever want except sustain, the one thing that all Swordsman classes want and do not have.
That said, I’ve played many games all with overpowered classes, and ToS is the most tame about it. Cataphract may be the best but it is in the Swordsman tree which is arguably the worst, and it isn’t the worst thing to go against, Trot has massive nerfs in TBL, and there is enough defensive skills to deal with Rush even if they do follow you at the speed of sound spinning on you. Yea sure they can impale you and roast you on a pole of agony or flame pillar but at least it’s a melee ability, double dash is good but I used to play a game where the warrior class had like 7 dashes and 1 of them was a no skill, unmissable gap closing stun that increased damage by 126%+
Cataphract is the best class, but with all my experience I can’t be bothered to call it “OP” It’s a strong, fun and interesting class. It’s just not fun to play against and is a class to fear.

Spear + Shield is the way to go for PvP, Hoplite is mostly for Finestra, but the other two help in PvE at least, Peltasta increases durability by quite a bit, Dragoon gives Dethrone and a few of their other skills have okay use, but the big thing is the Cataphract, it may not do as much damage as a Shinobi Murmillo build or CC as well as Corsair but it has so many amazing things like mobility, and CC and if you land any of that CC suddenly Dragontooth doesn’t seem like such an awful ability.
It’s especially good for Cataphract that they are getting buffed, as is Dragoon, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did become meta.

I never think cataphract is op but it fun because
All class that can mount is feel good.
Imagine your pets are stucked in the other lodge and cannot move to your mounted chars (lodge 1) since days, awesome intented feature.
ROFL this must be a joke right !?!?!?! I know cata-goon is dead now (PvP/PvE both). There aren’t any cata-goons on the PvP ranking AFAIK
