What has changed after half a year?

Personally, I left the game. For 3 main reasons.

  1. Connectivity (this was mostly for Siete, but I think he totally quit) - ping was a bit jumpy
    – I have no connectivity issues now.

  2. Optimization - I was getting single digit FPS in towns and 20-30 in different zones.
    – I now get 50-60 FPS pretty consistently

  3. Bots - They were everywhere for awhile
    – I have not seen 1 bot (but Im sure they are still flooded in the “farming” zones.)
    – I have not seen 1 chat bot but I havent seen any chat (maybe I disabled it meh)

So basically my 3 issues have all been resolved. I finally logged back in to see what the hunting grounds were after 4-5 months.

Game is honestly playable now. I can not comment on content/meta etc since Ive been gone for too long.

On Fedimian they are still running and shouting strong. But the city whisper bots are finally gone.

I have experienced it vice versa on Femi: had some whispers, especially when I was in Klaipedo and had close to no bots shouting. Also not sure if I havent seen a single bot actually but I wasnt searching for them and didnt enter every single field so what do I know ;s

Nexon is now shareholder of IMC.

Did something has changed regarding addons while I wasnt there? The tos addon manager doesnt response at all.

One day in November I was in the middle of doing a quest and i just turned off the game, and never turned it on again. It was my 3rd character to reach 330. I just realized that the content in the game is empty. It’s a good game. But the content is absolutely empty. So if they can’t fix that and make it rewarding to play, it won’t RECOVER players, which is what it needs to survive.

The bugs, I can look past. I don’t want to play a sit in Fedimian simulator lol.

Another question: Does IMC still offer gambling RNG TP items? That was the other thing that made me snap,

I legit can’t imagine getting into this game right now as a new player and having any fun. Everything is a ghost town at low levels, you won’t be able to find parties for dungeons, and once you get to the mid level grinding maps you’ll find that it’s just camped out by pseudobots - so you’re basically just stuck questing mindlessly for hours. There’s nothing to break up the monotony. Maybe if you find an active guild that is willing to accept new players you’d be able to tag along with someone who was leveling an alt, but even then they’ll have various exp boosters and you won’t so they’ll just outpace you. It’s bad enough having played it from the start, but getting into it now is like… ugh.

Oh, and if you do somehow manage to max a character at this point… I hope you weren’t expecting a real endgame, because the endgame is rolling a new character.

The guy that developed the addon manager quit long ago, as did most of the addon makers. And most of the players.

Yes Goat, this is exactly how it feels! This is my fourth day, I reached 105, and it was hard to get up to this point… Any other person I currently meet has already played this game or came back after a hiatus with there 200+ character, and they always have things to out level me. Even when I’m on for 6-7 hours. It’s a bit off putting and sad really.

Also, most of the guilds have some kind of level requirement and no one really takes newbies. You’re sorta like a lone wolf haha… I even went to the beginner area to try to teach others what little knowledge I’ve learned to try to make them feel more welcome. You hit the nail on the head :sob:

I’d invite you to my guild but, uh… everyone in it has already quit.
