Like system was there way before solo queues existed.
And it (probably) only affects automatic party finder when you are leveling in fields: suggested nearby parties when you solo and suggested players when you are a party leader.
I’ve realized I have also another issue whereby I cannot even like any other players. There will be a client error pop up. Others can’t like me too as nothing happens.
I’m guessing they were working on something and it somehow messed up the liking data.
