No Centurion? Kappa
I can see those being the least played of each for sure.
Rodolero definitely. That is why I am making one. c(^-^b)
reminds me of RO Pally Iâm gonna try to make one similar.
Tbh I have seen so many people who seem to be planning on going Rodelero. I wouldnât be surprised if there were more Rodeleros than Corsairs.
I donât get it ? why do people think thaumaturge is bad ? Iâm going support wiz and I canât picture my build without thaum tbh. Just for the 1st circle you get + 218 atk/magic (+318 C3) for the whole team with attributes and bonus damage to shrinked ennemies. Swell body seems really good on paper and make you hit the monsters for 20% more with attributes. Transpose with attribute ADDS YOUR INT TO YOUR CON AND YOUR CON TO YOUR INT and this is JUST for the 1st circle. Beside, changing body sizes is hilarious.
@UnlimitedRulebook, youâve been mislead on quite a few of these.
First circle you only get +68 atk, which is not too little, but it isnât anything too great either. There will be bigger buff priorities in your group.
The Shrink/Swell attribute does a 1 time hit based on your magic attack and DOES NOT increase damage taken.
Transpose has two modes, on one it swaps INT and CON entirely (if you have 100 and 50 you will now have 50 and 100), and the other averages them (75 on both with the previous example).

According to ToSbase :
Attack increase effect of [Swell left Arm] Increase by 3 per Attribute level. (Max Level :50)

I see, so itâs just like a damaging skill.
Oh, It balances them out. Still nice.

You wonât get all attributes like that unless you take a really long time to level up. Chances are by the time you get all those they will be far outclassed by better things. Thauma being on rank 4 alone means you have to compete with Priest3, which has loads of amazing buffs.
The problem is Wiz gets really little from CON, which is what makes Transpose so meh. The amount of HP you get from having tons of CON is a bit of a joke compared to a Swordsman. As I mentioned above, you only get max HP, meaning you have to regen your current HP before that extra CON even makes you tankier. From all the feedback I read so far on Thauma the best one I saw about this skill was something along the lines of âitâs nice to use it before you sit down to regen HP faster.â
Stop ⌠stop shaterring my dreams

Sorry @UnlimitedRulebook, just making sure you know what youâre getting yourself into :â( I am sure they will be getting some attention though. Heck, Iâd love to play a Thauma myself.
@cosx774, Iâd say it is a lot better after some of the rebalancing that has been done. Pyro and Ele are the clear go-to if you want to dps as a Wiz, but they arenât the only options. I feel a lot of the Wiz classes are in an ok spot, itâs just Thauma is one of those classes that feels like it doesnât do what it is supposed to, much like the Paladin currently.
QS has gotten quite a few buffs since iCBT1, and I have heard quite a few people talking about how they find the class useful. They are definitely not a dps class however, which is what most people expect from everything in the Archer tree.
Oh, no, please donât talk about Paladin doesnât do what it is supposed to do. Paladin already able to do what itâs meant to do, be an anti-mage, anti-elemental tank, not only for yourself, but also to your party as well.
I have no comment on Thaumaturge, though.
I had not realized Barrier gave MDEF til now, TIL. Still, to me it feels like most of the other skills are there because they had to put them somewhere, not because they compliment the kit.
At first glance, yes, the Paladinâs skill set are literally all over the place except for Elemental Resistance, Barrier, and Conviction. However, Restoration compliment with Aukuras, and if you want Full Support, then you can get Priest before hand to cover the PDEF part that Paladin lack.
As for Conversion and Turn Undead, I honestly donât know why itâs there in Paladin skill set, though. They fit Bokor better, but Bokor already got 9 skills.
Edit: Mistook Conversion for Conviction
Yeah⌠them being a STR support feels a little strange though. Part of me wishes they were in rank2 for a smoother transition for STR Clerics into Monk.
I plan on being Rodelero too and coincidentially Iâm hispanic too
From stories and myths, Paladins are holy warriors fighting for justice and warding off evil. Turn Undead is a perfect skill in their kit because story wise, theyâd smite anything ââunholyââ.
Then there better be a synergy between Turn Undead and Smite, in my opinion.
Iâm half-joking here, donât take this post seriously.
