What class can make sure you get boss cube

May I know what EQ you use? I probably couldn’t reach that damage unless the boss is weak to my spell (I maybe mistaken, because I couldn’t really see my damage during field boss).

Did you have a high attribute level?

Also, RIP meteor with big number but low DPS. Best Damage achievement ftw.

Ya, those should be damage with quick cast on, or very high level attribute.

Tbh your post didn’t clearly say that you want high DPS swordsmen and archer class. I nearly gave the same answer he gave too. Maybe our comprehension skill sux.

I wanted him to expand on what he said of archer and swordsman. He said high dps so he obviously thinks some class of archer and swords can deal high enough dps but didnt specify what class.

k well any swordie i said will have a tough time because of FPS problems so I didnt mention it. I already told u it would be really bad. if u had nightmares with the boss bullet and dullahan crowding u would know going swordie is just a no.
if u want to disconnect and suicide, go hoplite, doppel cyclone, or corsair. a lot of swordie have ok dmg.
Archer I haven’t played much and from my experience it sucks early on. I heard sapper broom trap and wugushi does dps but i dont think it would compare to pyro. multishot i tried but the cd and cast is annoying. oblique does bad dmg and take too much mp. If there WAS a viable archer dps build, it might be worth a shot.

In field boss battles, range is really important to keep up your fps

Yeah, those are with quick cast, ~1k matk (not sure), 30-50% attributes, +6 rod and arde. Ofc not included level penalty (monsters not higher 5lv).

Of course we need high dps, but you didnt really say what class has high dps for you.

that part i read and i answered.

why is pyro good? because u cast a skill once, and it does continuous high damage.
fireball, flame ground, flame pillar. if you cast all of them and then walk away all u need to do is wait for CD to recast
use linker skill to keep fireballs on the boss
sorcerer c1 is good because u can hold the summon on the boss and it will do 5-7k continuous auto attack every 2 seconds.

swordie and archer depends on auto attacks and one time hit skills
that means u have to hold z most of the time and stay on the boss

pss…pls. Pyro is the best for solo but not that case in teamplay (including world bosses), mainly because your best skill fireball is totally useless in group.

Fire pillar has too long cd, the only pyro skill good for boss is flame ground.

btw, they already removed bullet hell long ago and hoplite/spear users are among the best boss killers with their huge bonus dmg on XL size monsters

alright, let me quote this again.

1 Archer depends on auto attacks ? - nope
2 Archer depends on one time hit skills ? - wut, which skill? Spiral Arrow? nope, also multi hit. Multi shot ? Retreat shot? Needle Blow? Stone shot?

Wiz -> Pyro c2 -> Thauma C3 is THE job for World Bosses. Go full INT or 1:5 or 1:4 con:int and be happy.
Huge DPS with pyro multihits skills alone thanks to the thaumaturge buffs, also VERY strong autoattacks with the Lethargy attribute and enchant fire second damage line. Oh in case you join a party any party member will benefits from your damage buffs, even the weakest ones will do significant damage.

I did pretty well myself with Cryomancer. The famous icewall + psychic pressure combo is very strong even with the very long cooldown and SP consumption, as long as i managed to join the fight early and land at least three Lv 11 walls + joint penalty + psychic pressure combos, the cube was certainly in the bag, even alone vs party.

Bonus video: when you put these two together things get very interesting. This boss here has 5,744,400 HP, see how his HP drops, lol.

cryo-linker-psycho-sorcerer2 might pull this off. Get templeshooter. You circle icewall+pp => templeshooter S-skill => mutate => templeshooter S-skill => resummon => templeshooter S-skill.
This tactics consume lots of SP, but I managed to get cubes solo this way (but I picked ele instead of psycho so spammed hail+prominence in circle too and hit linked wall with dagger instead of pp. Still think psycho1 is better than ele1).

While I would agree thau 3 is definitely a better support for a party with alot multihit skill, Wiz Pyro 2 Ele 3 will definitely deal more damage alone than pyro 2 thau 3 (because damage from Ele 3 alone is more than the extra damage from Thau 3).

Cryo’s combo is crazy though. I heard comboing with toy hammer is great as well?
