Weekly OP Cleric cry thread

Well yea, I even have tp lvl 11 to teleport half of the map to rush, this isn’t LoL or other MOBA so I didn’t understand what Veritas was refering to Low Elo, but probably is people who doesn’t know how to play, peeps that keeps doing the same thing match after match without even changing anything, peeps like you.

But hey, you’ve already seen everybody playing TBL in each server to discuss which server is better or not, who knows how to play and this stuff, so instead of trashtalking here with your “useful” tips you can aswell go to each class section and help with builds and teaching everybody how to play.

I’d like to see your ranking each week tho, but would feel pretty bad by your side so nvm, keep crying and trolling, now I get why these dramas and comments about trashpeople in asian servers if everybody is as retard as you lmao.

The thing is, people keep comparing Mack with Aus in their favor, while leaving out:

  • The fact that Mack can be cast instantly vs Aus which needs to be set up.
  • The loss in time when cast at the start of the match until both parties clash.
  • You can prevent Aus from being used as explained by previous posters.
  • CD of mack is 23 seconds less (67 sec compared to 90 sec).
  • The overal comparison between the 2 classes (diev vs bokor), in which Veritas already went through the statues of diev. While Bokor most certainly doesn’t underperform.

It has been said before; In the current state of the game with the rank 8 powercreep, not having ausrine simply means all matches would end almost instantly with people oneshotting each other left and right.

The only thing that would be understandable is the 2 sec reduction each time the aus buf is taken (ausrine pre-buf).

Mackangdall is still unusuable tho… In PvE, you get knocked too much for it to be usefull. In PvP, opposite team just has to prevent you from reaching SZ (that’s assuming your teammates know you used mackangdall on them).
So I don’t get your point…

Which is further proof of the OPness of Ausrine.

Well since I’m too lazy to make a video showcasing the strong suit of your class, just ask a swordman friend to try to knockthing you with and without Ausrine.

I’m more interested in PvE than PvP anyway (especially in a game plagued by bugs, lags and bad optimization like ToS).
My point still stand that there is no reason for Mackangdall to be THAT inferior to Ausrine while Diev already has a lot of signature and usefull skills. Both should grant the same “invulnerability”. Period.

Just as you can prevent players from going into their SZ with Mack up, you can also prevent players from taking Aus. That way they can’t even get the invulnerability at all. It’s just the skill mechanics and possible counterplays.

With my statement about the current powercreep I meant invulnerabilities/dmg mitigation in general as opposed to only zoom in on Aus. The problem here lies with the powercreep, not the latter.

You forgot a few things.

  1. You can cast Ausrine whithin the 3 secs without being able to leave the Zone, unless you are using Teleport skills to bug you out - which is most likely not even intended. So everyone else except Psychos with maxed Teleport cant reach the opposite team fast enough. And even then, it only works in the first round. In the second round you can expect what the Teleport psycho is up to and you will counter it.

  2. After successfully adding Ausrine, almost every Archer (except hunter), most Mages and almost all swordmen (except corsair) will be rendered useless till these 20s are over. After successfully adding Mackangdal, you will just and only delay the dmg. You still get every status effect, every knockdown and every knockback the enemy can offer. And almost all classes got some of these. So basically ANYONE can cc you out of your safetyzone or just cc you long enough to hinder you to even cast it. Its easy to time that since you can see the buff lenght by focusing the target.

  3. Mack is only technically applyable instantly. In reality as soon as you meet a situation in which you need it, its too late already. Still trying to add Mack will cause it to glitch then. The fancy effect everyone knows and loves. Thats caused by the poorly designed mechanic of the skill needing to throw the “Talisman” on yourself before giving the buff. If something hits you after you pressed the key before the Talisman touches you, it just wont apply. Instead the Talisman hovers on your feet for the rest of the match. Its no problem throwing the buff on ppl under attack tho, for IMC reasons.

  4. Due to only delaying the dmg, using Mack early on will most efficiently cause your team to die after the time is up. Needing all ppl to gather at one spot will give the opposite a perfect chance to kill everyone at once. Ausrine just doesnt need anything else than walking over 3 tiles for idiotsave 20 sec complete invul. On top, having Mack carried over to the next round will make you start the round dead.

These are the facts. Dont make silly comparisons ignoring how things really are, only looking at the theory.

inb4 someone argues 5v5 will have at least one or two guys who can counter Deiv3 so debate is moot.

Just wait till IMC announce stats balancing of INT/STR. It will certainly change lots of builds and skills too. Right now TBL is heavily skewed towards CON builds and clerics cuz our heals scale with hp more, making them even harder to kill.

Some good balancing will be to increase the INT portion of the heals and lower the hp% of the heals. like to 2% of total hp and bonus from int/spr increases to 3x instead of 1.1x~1.3x. This will balance the meta up as clerics will have to invest in int/spr in order to get good heal power while lowering CON.

Ausrine statue can be circumvented by reducing its effective time or limiting the number of players who benefit from it in TBL to 3. But in order to do this, IMC would have to balance the problem of archers 1hko opponents and wiz’s never ending CCs with no diminishing returns first.

I have 3 clerics yet I find TBL totally not fun at all. It aren’t fun to even win cuz the pvp aspect aren’t balanced and is heavily skewed towards CC heavy, prevention heavy builds instead of strategy and skills.

look other side have big whale spending with OP gear
no problem just telepath him and make it stuck
guest what 2 more round he still get stuck easy kill and easy win

Against 1 cleric still possbile

2 clerics still possible but need hard working
