US Player on SEA Server...Am I Screwed?

I am pretty confident that unrestricted server transfer will eventually be a thing…and again, a lot of the issues this game currently has is based on the fact that it is essentially a beta test for people that want to play now. There will surely be a rush of changes to the game within the first weeks of F2P.

My main concern is being able to play the game.

There’s quite a lot of English speaking SEA players in my experience of MMOs.

So every day that passes, I lose days of tokens, I do not know whether to play in this server (in feidimian with lag for Chileans, it is impossible to play pvp) start again on the other and lose money to use to pay the exclusive pack, I am disillusioned.

So i searched the forums and

  1. Yes, there was a statement about the SEA server eventually being transferred

  2. No, this was not supposed to happen until the game became F2P

  3. Yes, there are hints towards unrestricted transfers after F2P

  4. Yes, IMC has gone against their word regarding transfer time periods

Between your options, that one is the best, I suppose. SA (even if it’s Chile) to SEA is a huge distance routewise (especially if your ISP routes things via US like it’s common in SA), you’ll get huge pings and such. But you don’t really neeeeed to buy the founder’s pack again. If you farm a bit, token is still quite buyable. You’ll lose TP, though.

I understand this situation sucks. Maybe change your forum name now to further reflect your current state of mind?

Yes, you too will get huge lags, depending on where you’re located in the US. If you’re in the West Coast, you’re a little luckier, but your ping will be very high anyway depending on your ISP’s routing to SEA.

Well it was kinda your fault since you immediately decided to change to a server that isn’t your region instead of just waiting for the problems in your previous server to be fixed.

I beg to differ, I made a decision that provided me with 2-3 weeks of uninterrupted stupidity and peace.

Well I hope you’re satisfied with your 2-3 weeks because the rest of your gaming experience is going to be affected once the servers goes to SEA.
