TS3 / Discord - poll and ideas

There’s hardly any difference in “Convenience” once you go through a set-up wizard. X_X

The question us which of those you can consider your 2nd home

Odd i find mumble the most annoying and worst to use/deal with.

…Dude, it shows you a set-up wizard the moment you launch the program. If you click through it that’s your own fault.

You even need to explicitly check “Advanced Options” in the settings to even see the confusing stuff. -_-

Mumble is no-more painful and obtuse to set-up than Teamspeak.

Better use Discord.

I can make a Discord post with invite if you guys are hyped for it.
Like we can make a GENERAL TOS.
And then class groups into different server.
And also class voice discussion for server.

I wanted to create channels based on peoples character and attitude not what they look for in the game or class they are. For example room to chill, to tell jokes, for ppl loud and those who like peace, based on music gengre for example .That is the main idea but technical stuff can go along.

It’s gonna separate a lot of people, i think it’s better to create a discussion channel for server and then voice channel based on people like u said, also a grind channel, raid channel…

Also @k.kubiak94 if you want to create a real server, with mods and a consctructive topic feel free to pm me, i can help with that.

I find no problem in being separated from ppl i dont enjoy ; D ye there will be place for everything, we wont be limited. And i double dare staff_John to come visit us and talk pirate like he wanted ; D

Sure. Right now im at work typing on shitty phone but as soon as i find some time ill let you know

How about steam voip? Unless you intend to have voice sessions with 10+ ppl

No. Lord gaben is going to eavesdrop us… now srsly, steam voip is best for small premade groups not as a platform for ppl to meet. Id like to see quite a few ppl and new ones who can hop in on go!

Lord Gaben is eavesdropping on you no matter where you talk. He knows all…
Then again, true. Steam is more suited for smaller groups of people.

…Who?

If you decide to make a discord server pm me an invite please

Here’s a thread where someone has a Discord server: Tree of Savior Social Chat

I bet there are numerous servers but thats not the point. I’d like to create one by us, for us, not hook to somebodys… unless its really grown up. I dont know if thats the case since it got so little attention on the forum.

Well you can try the server out and see it for yourself. You’re right that the thread hasn’t got much attention, but I personally wouldn’t go by that alone. I’m on the server too, and there’s a decent amount of people online. It’s not Tree of Savior exclusive so you’re right that it might not be what you’re looking for, but the people seem mature. Granted I’ve only been on the Discord server for a couple days. I’m just a messenger, passing the word around. :relaxed:

I run this server linked above and all are welcome. We are more gaming general than just ToS general but we have quite a few playing ToS. I get and respect you wanting to make your own and you totally should, OP. <3

In 2 days I will be working on this server, till now ppl lean toward Discord so I might hit @Ayanami and work on that together. I’ll post when its ready.
In the same time I encourage you guys to think this through, step out of your comfort zone if voice chat is an issue for you, and simply join us, I’ve heard ,here and there, many times that somebody doesnt want to speak cuz his/her english is bad, they never kept the promise. Often good is good enough + practice can only make you a better speaker.
