No, I want to play it now and I’m going to invest in this founder pack. If SEA server will happen later, I will have to wait loger or my time/money in NA server will be wasted.
Why did you bump this? The reason this thread stopped was there was an announcement about a publisher for SEA already.

They’re not going to host servers and cut in on the publishers profit in that area, the fact that you’re not restricted to having to play on that publishers server is about all you’ll get.

Actually, even a Westcoast server is good enough for us.
THey already stated that the possibility to open other servers is ALREADY under internal debate… i mean they stated this HORUS ago already 
Yeah I’m trying to push for a West Coast server. It’s going to be good enough for us and it’ll fix problems for people in Alaska and a few other US states who are having poor connections.
Like I said though having a server in SG would compete with the Indo server so it’s pretty damn unlikely for IMC to popup a server there even though AWS makes this very easy and it’d be a convenient timezone for IMC.

Believe it or not, OCE to SEA can actually be worse than OCE to USA depending entirely on where the SEA server ends up.
I definitely support more servers, but they need to be careful with server placement.
Edit: I do want to say though that the US East Coast SUUUUUCKS! Holy crap. Why East? Why do they always start with East? If you live outside of the US, your connection is usually better to the WEST Coast.
Getting 300-500ms from Singapore on your opening night. Very bad!
Yes to SEA server, or if it’s too expensive, make a korea server since we should be able to get under 100ms.
Getting 300-600ms despite internet being fine, I’m blaming this on the server lag.

Well amazon web services has servers in Singapore and Australia, so it will probably be one or the other. Doesn’t matter which will be chosen, either one will undoubtedly be better than the current us east. That being said, holy crap, I have been playing mmorpgs for 17years now, Internet speeds have improved tremendously, but the same can’t be said for latency; still more or less experiencing the same laggy feeling connecting to the US. I remembered playing iro in 2003 and it wasn’t any better(or worse). Can’t recall where the iro servers were though, is it in us west?

Well with ToS opening up in Indonesia, that should cover the surrounding regions.
