Toy Hammer for those who auto-attacks. 
I though you could equip both at the same time

@jeffbr92 ncorrect there are more factors at play here than just that. I’ll explain in quick detail.
@shahjanah185 Toy hammer’s explosion is based on physical damage values, however if you multi hit it can be a nice addition, the only problem with it is that because it’s tied to a base physical value the magical damage increase of the mace can’t be upped in value. So if you are not using multi hits then the explosion is not as useful. So it’s more based on what your mid game (end game for now since our current cap is 280) will be. A cyro/kino can get a lot of use out of it because of a large amounts of multi hits, however if your can’t exceed 10 hits in a short time then it is less useful. As for the auto attack portion that also depends on what class brances you have. A toy hammer is next to useless if you aren’t doing a lot of multi hit attacks.
Is toy hammer more effective for auto attackers yes, however is it useless for mages/int clerics, it depends. Also keep in mind you can use both, or a ice/poison shield for extra damage. However your damage around the 170’s will start to fall off because of the lack of magic attack modified from weapon.
The same can be said for arde though, while it’s nice for the added damage to every instance of damage, it can actually be detrimental if you can instead use a higher magic attack 2hd.
Arde hammer, or you can choose the Toy Dagger.
