TOS can become the new Archeage

That still has terrible written all over it. In my personal opinion though, Archeage just felt extremely generic to me. I got the same feeling playing that that I have in the past playing lesser known Korean MMORPGs. It felt stale, it couldn’t make me care about the “lore”, the race selection was just embarrassing(I’m pretty sure one of them was just asian)and a labor points system designed to limit you in a game that gave you SO much to do other than kill monsters was just stupid. I’m just glad I didn’t have to shell out $120 for guaranteed access to the alpha like a few of my not-so-bright friends.

The game itself may have had a few good ideas but the execution was extremely poor.

Wasn’t it that way from the very beginning?

More like Hype Train Wrecked.

I gotta agree with you, unfortunately.

I still have hopes on IMC, they can fix this mess. They can learn with kTOS, right?

@OP: Pin the GM’s to this thread so they get aware of it.

Labor Points wasn’t used in the cash shop, Apex Currency was.
I’m struggling to understand the similarity between both beyond the extent of ‘able to regenerate’

Labor is similiar to TP, since you need it to do stuff, like using the Market. In Archeage you had to buy a definitive permission to use the AH with cash, in TOS you can only listen 2 items per day i think, and you spend TP on it, wich is really bad. IMC should set the max items to 10, and allow 1:1 trade, i would be happy still with TP and Tokens existing.

Only via Regeneration mechanics, although TP Regens whilst offline for TOS.
Labor was used for almost everything in Archeage, Opening Pouches, Identifying Equipment - Farming / Uprooting Materials. Even crafting was behind Labor use.

KR Live servers don’t use TP To register items, it may have been true for a short period in KTEST but it is no longer a thing in live servers.

Trading has been enabled exclusively between Token users at the moment, Non Token users can’t trade. Another perk Token users have is they can register up to 5 Items on the marketplace ( Citation needed), As well as reduced taxes upon sales for items.

Atm i think.

Max slots for marketplace would be fine benefit (but 2 for none premium are nto enough… and 5 doesnt feel liek a benefit…)
But tradeing should be enabled for all to a extend.

Just give token users exp buffs (higher then 20%) and a shared storehouse, wher eoyu dont lose potential and where you can store silver too.

THATS not P2W!
As you will just move stuff you earned around, without troubleing to trade with others. (silver trade should be diabled altough, so Gold Sellers (silver) will be hindered a bit) Just trade items would be nice…

People are not retarded, if nexon/imc wants to become greedy, the players will realize and then, we will leave the game, turning it into an empty beautiful scenario. I’m not going to pay for nonsensical decissions.

Every TP is a new Sport Car buyed for them :grinning:

You underestimate people with more dollars than sense.

why does noone talk about archlord 2, they have almost the same name, im level 100 warrior on there

got money ready for Tos!

Premium emotes here I come :ok_hand::eyes:

dont forget to “Agree” to ToS before playing ToS!

The people that think xp boosts are pay to win are idiots -.- it gets you to end game faster but doesn’t get them anything that everyone else cant obtain freely.

He did offer you the ability to see for yourself tho, you just didnt take it? I have no idea if its true or not, but if it is indeed; you can find out for yourself on the kr client.

‘‘You have no proof therefor I am right’’
That’s exactly as baseless as his argument? Pot, kettle, black?

Back on topic: the trading system if I understand it correctly (limit of 1-2 items on the market at a time, no 1:1 trading) limits players far more then it would currencysellers.

Currencysellers wont have to wait for days to get those items sold, they would sell instantly? (to their buyers)
So claiming its done to prevent botting and selling of currency is a weak argument at best, the way I see it.
