You are looking at the skill one-sided.

Have you seen 32 heal tiles from cleric c3 that basically keep your team at full HP all the time? Safety zone = gg meteor gg snipe lolz

On priest tree, monstrance give +30% DEX for whole party, revive = gg lolz never die. And of course stone skin

On krivis tree, aurukas = you miss miss miss, zacial = we crit crit crit

On diev tree, world tree carve = no spells lolz, laima statue = spam all day long

Plague doctor is just vastly better than the other rank 7 choice in PvP, hence the popularity, especially when you can choose plague doctor ON TOP of those classes.

If you have to choose only between plague doctor and kabbalist, sure anyone would choose plague doctor.

However, the primed plague doctor build for PvP is cleric c2 -> priest c3 -> krivis -> plague doctor, not cleric c1 -> krivis c1 -> bokor c3 -> paladin -> plague doctor.

plague docotr is still a pvp class and is the best class for pvp in cleric tree, you cant cast stone skil while ur frozen

no, cryomancers are ranged and basically have a 100% chance to freeze you for for almost eternity, you cant use stone skin while ur frozen.

the problem is the game mechanic itself so if there 's no change magic attack class such as cleric and wizard will always on top.
Poor IMC itā€™s been more than half a year and pvp still sucks as hell

First, Iā€™m pretty sure you start the PvP session further than any range could reach

Second, stone skin last longer than blood letting, so if stone skin run out, so does blood letting.

Third, most PvP battle will be decided within blood letting duration, thus also within stone skin duration, there is not need to recast stone skin at all.

Fourth, even if you are frozen without stone skin, you still have revive as a fall back.

well still, stoene skin doesnt prevent magic dmg, you get frozen and wizards and other clerics will kill you, having revive on wont ave you because of how high dmg they will be doing

Thatā€™s the main reason why the leaderboard is full of clerics and wizards isnā€™t it? Without that stone skin there will be many more archers and swordmen, simply because they can deal damage.

no, its full of wizards and clerics bcuz of wizards cc, and clericā€™s PD
ive heard swordsmen cant do good dmg, and tehir melee to make stuff worse
and archers can pvp, its just wizards cc stop them frm doing anything

If plague doctors are the answer to cc and wizards are over 40% of the things getting played it goes without saying it isnā€™t their cc that makes them viable. Yes their cc probably needs to be looked at, notably cryomancer, but it isnā€™t why there are so many of them. Priest c3 -> plague doctor brings an answer to everything besides magic damage. If they nerf or rework stoneskin we should see a wider variety of classes.

if wizards couldnt cc, then archers would dominate everything
if clerics didnt have PD, the wizards would dominate eevrything
is archers didnt have such high burst, then clerics would dominate
if cleric didnt have stone skin, then swordsmen and archers would dominate.

Itā€™s full of wizard because physical damage cannot do ā– ā– ā– ā–  against stone skin. Itā€™s full of cleric because of stone skin. Archers cannot PvP.

If you think wizards CC can stop archer, try PvP one yourself haha

hunterā€™s bite keeps u locked in place for 30 seconds and deals constant op dmg (and u cannot use ANY skills)

Archerā€™s cannot pvp clerics because of stoneskin. Which makes that hunterā€™s bite get blocked. Is isnā€™t that these classes CANā€™T pvp in general, they have tools available, stoneskin just renders it useless. Lets imagine a scenario for a moment where you could block magic damage. What would happen to the spread of classes? Iā€™ll give you a hint, it would be almost 100% cleric.
