it supposed to work that way
any trade (including using market) will make item’s potential reduced by 1 (whether the item showing potential or not, all item have at least have 1 potential from the start)

but what’s the point of putting that clause there?

so. that means
0 potential != untradeable
No Token = Always untradable after trade (= all potential lost)
Token = Only untradable if potential was 1 before trade (= 1 potential lost)
I’m thinking it to avoid it being resell
I mean like people selling that thing cheap, other person see this “OH ITS CHEAP!, I SHOULD BUY THIS AND RESELL IT PRICIER” kinda situation?
wait …am I in the right topic? w
Yes, that’s correct.
0 potential = untradable
let’s just say materials/recipes have “hidden” 1 potential.
any item after trade loses 1 potential.
i was in a trade and the free 15-day token i got was active. as far as i remember, the trade window showed “token disabled” for me. It probably meant i had 0 trades left since the 15-day token doesnt have free trade counts. so i’m not quite sure about this part that you said.
no …its different
for no token …when it say untradable doesn’t mean potential = 0,
that means the potential will still be reduced by 1, but the equipment will be untradable
i dont think so. most other mmos have trades that allow you to do that. trade restrictions is most probably for: (1) restricting and discourage RMTs and BOTs (which we all know they failed big time in this aspect) and (2) monetization of the game. some sort of vip system in the form of token which is not that great.[quote=“Lostac, post:10, topic:303485, full:true”]

hmm i dont think you understood me clearly. 0 potential doesnt automatically mean untradable if this is true along with the premise that only tradable equipments can be put in team storage.
No no, I understood it clearly. ANY ITEM with 0 potential means not tradable. I know != means not equals.
This is why even costumes (not enhanceable) with low potential are cheap, because their resell value gets lower and can no longer be sold again once it reaches 0
crafted armbands are also not tradable because they’re 0 potential and marked untradable anyway
with token … traded item -1 potential but still can be traded, if the potential is not 0
without token …traded item -1 potential and item become untradable, regardless of potential number
…I’ve tried it with my friend when the system was patched on 1st day
thanks. i got confused.
by “without token” you mean those who dont have any token active at all or does it also include those who dont have trades left?
probably include those who don’t have trade left, this one I’m not really quite sure myself …need someone else to verify it.

So if we are token user and We trade material like mithril ore with talt. Then the talt or mithril that we get from trade cannot be sold at market again or trade because it will become untradeable.
Does it like that? If its like that then why people start selling their equip with talt, if that talt will become untradeable as that talt have only 1 potential.
talt can be sold for 5k silver to the npc
Ooo i see, i never check it before
thanks
