It takes a little bit of homework. If you play online video games you obviously have the resources to do a little bit of studying instead of generalizing. Written Portuguese can be easily distinguished from Spanish with a little bit of knowledge. Just as how Asian languages can be generally distinguishable from each other if you take 5 minutes of your time to quickly research the differences.

What you wanted me to take this topic seriously? I just brushed this topic off due to content. And i never claimed to be discussing the topic and never complained about people talking off topic. Because honestly being off topic in a thread like this is better for the community then arguing over racism/hate/prej or what ever you want to label it as.
I agree with you on this. I myself think that everyone that killsteals, flames or whatever else are just annoying people in general, no matter what country they come from. But some are just really easy to identify based on what they say.
i bet there’s a larger correlation to age than location with this kind of behaviour.

On a serious note, you just met the wrong people, not all BR’s are bad, though i admit ive had my share with “bad BR’s” myself, but ive also met decent ones that still are my friends, not here in ToS though.
I am a BR, and we have a lot of toxic players (not 100%), those behaviors are a cultural thing in my country, most of toxic players see it as normal behavior and do similar things not just on the internet.
No one can argue with that fact, just watch the global channel in orsha server for a while and you will see a lot of BRs spamming portuguese things.
I think IMC could implent a system to report bad behavior and toxic players just like BOTs.
For now I just ask to people to be pacient and ignore those players.
Most 1st world countries learn a little about each section of the world and its people/culture. Usually at the middle school lvl.

This is why I dislike BRs they have 0 respect for anyone that isin’t one of them, they refuse to follow any kind of online gaming etiquite(sp?), and alot of them are general just bad apples. If you ever see a char with BR in their char name avoid them like the plague because they tend to be the major fails out of the BRs.
This stuff is why BRs have such a bad rep, they have 0 respect for anyone at all. Its not racism, There are other people that speak protugese than brazilians, people just specifically don’t like BRs due to how they act, that and they like to shout that they are BRs so its kinda easy to put a face to the problem.
Don’t get me wrong here, I ain’t saying they can’t play here, anyone is free to, but they really need to learn how to behave. Not all BRs are bad though just a very large percentage of them I notice. I am not opening against them in games I just tend to avoid them the best I can, though I will put up with their crap if I need to get something done and they are sadly the only people I can find at the time. This is due to many horrible experences dealing with BRs in mutiple other mmorpgs, they act the same in every single one and this is no exception.
As people have said, if you dislike the steriotype then you need to do something to try to change it, its not going to change on its own when their behavior doesn’t ever change.

I thought it was common sense to know what some people actually behave differently in real life.
This is the internet, everyone can do whatever they want and go pratically unpunished, that’s why there are so many cyber bullying rolling nowadays.
