I didn’t compare to chinese cause I already know a bit of chinese soooo it would be unfair.
Either way, if you see a “pero” or “jaja” it means they are more likely speaking spanish.
I’m talking about chinese and japanese…I understand none of them but I am able to distinguish them.
Due to the amount of anime, and how the Japanese culture and language impact on the westerners nowadays, it’s understandable for somebody to know a little bit about the language, even though they don’t understand any of them.
So people can still catch a glimpse about the differences between Japanese and chinese.
But Portuguese and Spanish are different, people don’t know much about the 2.
Let’s put an Asian in an international game, the language they will focus on is English, not Portuguese or Spanish.
Its kind of easy to distinguish Spain Spanish, from Latin Espanish, and Portuguese, while distuingishing Portuguese among the 3 is the easiest. i see alot of portugese words with “LH” like “melhor” which does not exists in neither spanish other examples are “da” and i think none of portugese words have “ie” before “r”.
but don’t worry, i’ve played tons of MMO and spanish, br, and english native speakers have their “aggresive community”.
Anyhow, saying all BR are bad is a bit “xenophobic” from you, just ignore, and have fun

i dont speak portuguese, french, german, japanese, chinese, but i can tell the diff, doesnt matter the language, its the mean actions
I’m not complaining about anything… I just wanted to share my experience. I have no intention to report people just because they are rude. It’s a waste of time. I also had no idea Spanish and Portuguese were two languages. I used them interchangeably so pardon my ignorance. guess I learned something new today.
Bleh, being honest if it is either spanish or portuguese does not matter, the issue here is that there are aggressive players ruining the gaming experience of other players.
As I said above, please get their lodge names down with screenshots as proof and let the staff take care of them. Please do not generalize as if all brazilians has that kind of behaviour, it’s unpleasant.
Aggressiveness shall never get past unpunished, you have the right to report them. I assume you don’t want other players to experience the same unfortunate event you did.

If we’re talking about bad behaviors i must say i have a really long list of ppl who acts like a bunch of jerks inside the game and guess what? There’s ppl from all nationalities. If you play as a FS priest, be prepared for a LOT of KS comming from a lot of ppl which, by some weird reason, will also make fun of you after killing your mob.
Grinding spot? There’s unpolite players from all around the world so don’t just try to act like ‘ban all brazilians and the game will start improving.’
Seriously, sometimes i just think it is funny because most folks argue about theses BRs being unpolite but then you look at the shoutchat and what kind of messages you see? Yeah, that’s right. Unpolite ppl asking for the others to be polite, kind of hypocrite I must say.
So first thing, if you wish for a better community then improve yourself, improve your actions. Improve your words. I got many friends from US who are tired of all this BR vs US crap since they don’t give a damn if there’s bad br players, bad us players or whatever. They just wish to play and have fun… Kind of sad to see players who just want a reason to bad talk the others.

They don’t seem to understand the arguments in shout chat make every one involved look like a idiot that needs to be removed. It would be nice to see shout chat used for trading and grouping only.

Not a “BR are like this”, just you found crappy players to party with.
I’ve seen messages in English and Spanish being shouted containing obscene and racism on them, and no one seems to care.
I refuse to say “all are like this” because a few just happen to be aggressive, hatter, resentful or are just a**holes. (Which you can find anywhere in the world)
I’m sure nice BRs are out there, but guess what, when you come across a nice BR, you provably won’t even notice since they will either try to speak English to be able to communicate with everyone and be polite.
