This game limits basic functions and taxation is insane

I strongly disagree that people would rather have merchants sitting on the street. I don’t want to spend an ungodly amount of time checking every open shop to see who has what I’m looking for- let alone who has the best price. Plus it leads to common areas being cluttered, laggy and hard to navigate and NPCs being hidden by chat bubbles. Terrible, outdated idea.

I cannot emphasize what little patience I have for this shit

Squire repairs do more than just restore durability right? It actually increases it a little bit and provides buffs for a certain period of time.

People will choose you over the NPC if your services generates better results.

that’s what I thought too. but that’s not the case. i know it’s logical to use Squire with rank 10+ repair, but they won’t use it if I put the price to 200. they’ll maybe use me if I put it at 180 and now the price is set to 160(even when you have level 15 repair)

expectation=/=reality.

easy 200-300k per hour?? maybe in 르귄.

This angers me, really.

It should be obvious that if you offer me a better service for a fair price, i’ll let you fix my ■■■■ and make me stronger, wth is wrong with these people?

I’m sorry this sort of thing happened dude, it sucks.

I forgot to tell you something.

you have to wait 2 days to sell something.

I think what I want to say is that solo grinding is the best way to make money in this game than “merchanting”.

At the end of the day everyone of us checked a website wich showed all items - last sales and prices + the location of the seller etc - wich doesn make it any different from an “auction house” or “market place” and why did people create such a site and everyone used it? cause they dont have time to check the market 24/7 and wanna do different things than that >.> and remember the time when a guy went off the second you wanted to buy the ONE item you waited days if not weeks for >.> no no no never again - thats one of the worse ragnarok memories and no “interaction” involved after all >.> i mean you go to the shop and buy theitems off what kind of interaction between players is that? x.x

Not that brutal.

  1. what level do you consider end game and level were you? I stopped playing after I got level 11 on my templar. I never made 200~300k consistently, unless I get generous recipe drops. Not sure how easy it is, since the game is even more mind-numbing after R7.

  2. I don’t PVP. I think PvP is stupid as hell right now. I tried guild wars. it’s also a shitfest, but it’s fun to spawn camp. I know the drama very well, because i was part of the guild little after the drama died down. It didn’t happen because there is “too much player interaction”. DC is the biggest trolls in korean community and we only delcared war on them, because they were pissing us off. the actual war only got to be a server drama, because DC was involved in the war and IMC made some mistakes on their side. That kind of drama won’t happen again. I didn’t get on for almost 4 weeks now and I heard my guild disbanded, so there’s that.

  3. I guess I rather click on every vending post than to wait 2 days now. I dunno why they thought it was a good idea to do that… it wasn’t always like this. I only put RO in context, because that’s the game people are thinking of when they are playing this game.

  4. I didn’t check the founder’s pack adjustment. I honestly don’t care as long as they fix the trade and tax in this game. I don’t think I am in denial at all lol. I think everyone in kToS can agree that there’s are some serious mishaps in both trading and communication.

  5. Unbalanced is one thing, but swordsman is actually unplayable in end game pvp. I don’t know what swordsman can do that other classes can’t. There is no merit in playing that class unless you want to just create and guild and start a new character.

  6. Graphic is nice, but class tree is not better… the game doesn’t reward you for playing it your way. there are completely dead classes that need to be looked at immediately. I did hear there will be a big balance update coming up, so who knows. Also, I couldn’t personally perform well in pvp, but no one used voice com in my guild(but that’s just a korean thing. little bit shy when it comes to voice com)

I didn’t mean to sound egotistical, but I guess it just came out that way. sorry if I was being too preachy.

also, damn I have a lot of time.

The only thing that is brutal is Market tax difference (not taxes themselves) between token and non-token users. Non-token users cant compete with token users in market PvP (yeah Market is pure PvP activity) until they buy token themselves. 30% difference is too much imo.

  1. Aution House system stole some magic of economy. Maybe if you can give your itens for ONE of MANY merchant NPCs (will be a fight for the best spots and GvG determines the guild wich receive some % of the tax).
  2. “Polute trafic”: https://forum.treeofsavior.com/uploads/default/original/3X/6/d/6d559e48e6232f351df8c0e4d0919d41hcf736fa1.jpg.

You could actually use a website and search for merchants.

Besides your argument is invalid.

Most Squires / Alchemists still have to put up shops.

I loved shops in RO.

It was like a mini game of its’ own.

I remember trying to sell some potions with my merchant % discount. I could sell none.

Then I had the greatest idea of putting the potion shop next to the Swordsman starting zone, knowing they need potions quite a bit.

Boom, instantly started making cash in the game.

Man I was like 13 back then? Damn time flies.

But yeah a marketplace / auction house is needed in today’s world. New generation is too used to it.

What I don’t get is why the shops in ToS were removed, other than to just comply with their other crappy restrictions. 1:1 trading restricted makes no sense to me.

Hit just the mark about player interaction and good old days. Those are essentials that bring ppl together. And banning trade isnt working, just look at gw2 or teso, no trade but still gold sellers.

Those are the days. Guys who didnt play games like flyff, metin, conquer2 and other with shops/stalls have no idea what the real trade is… the joy you could get from it… unspeakable…

1:1 trade restriction is a complete BS. The next restriction will be to talk ingame without token…
