Obviously it’s not going to magically make everything super smooth regardless of how many spells are being active at the same time.
I find a lot of people who didn’t get much improvement are people with pretty low end GPUs (usually mid / low end GPUs from like 3-4 years ago).
So the fps will not be up there but the optimization should still help on how often lag spikes happen.

The issue with cryos is not happening to everyone. Also, apparently if you are having this issue, you can validate your files through steam to fix. (source: Frost Pillar lag/crash )
Otherwise, the game feels the same. Got a VGA error once so far, first one I’ve had. Fu**ing sucks.

I dont felt the optimization. Acturally, with less channels, for me is absolutely worst than before.

This optimization patch dint change in a less my FPS, still the exact same thing, is funny because i can run minecraft with shader at 100 FPS on my crappy GT 730 but this game cant pass 45 FPS on a place without mobs or people

lol TOS doesn’t even properly utilize GPU’s 
the optimization gave us multi-threading (wow wow new found technology huehuehuehuheuhe) but lol @ whoever coded this game.
