u guys starting to make selling Rank Reset is a great idea

After your 500 TP immunity you can recycle your forum posts, emotes, topic uses to get your name unbanned in the shop. It will take about 1500 TP of recycled goods to reset your banned status. This being of course 1500 per name and not shared per IP basis.

Just steal them and use them in your guilds discord channel
Your guild does have a discord, right?

the playerbase was growing a little more with that 8% in steam charts and now is gonna downhill with these kind of shĂt

IMC is going to do their best to kill their own game

IMC is releasing emotes and forum “updates” while people have not got the TP they’ve bought for weeks now. Shows some big priorities here.

Thousands of TP is given away every week, if anything they should raise the price and keep it character bound.

@notme
That was done the moment they got posted on the ktos thread.

Thing is, you are not even wrong, you would make a lot of money that way…

I am in the same position as you. It does NOT feel good to spend money this way.

Don’t spend money if you can’t afford its value.

We don’t have to buy these emotes as they will not impact our game accessibility in the slightest, unlike tokens. Nor do they provide a form of enhancement or boost to our stats.

By all means, this package is a luxury, an asthetic for those who have the extra money to spend for their beloved character.

Do I think making it account-bound would be nice? Of course.
Will that make the item a necessity? Nope, it’d still be a luxury we don’t need to purchase.

So in short: IMC isn’t making you spend money for them at all.

I feel like you missed the point. Yes, we do not have to buy anything if we don’t want to, but I think OP is referring to IMC’s overall business model. This restriction suggests that IMC is willing to short-change players for minor financial benefits.

Here is a simplified version:

WHAT IMC THINKS:

[GOODS] + [RESTRICTIONS] = [PLAYER FUSTRATION]

[PLAYER FUSTRATION] = [PLAYERS SPEND MONEY TO REDUCE FUSTRATION]

REALITY ACCORDING TO OP:

[GOODS] + [RESTRICTIONS] = [PLAYER FUSTRATION]

[PLAYER FUSTRATION] = [PLAYERS DISCOURAGED FROM PLAYING THIS GAME]

WHAT OP SUGGESTS

[GOOD] + [LIMITED/NO RESTRICTIONS] = [HAPPY PLAYERS]

[HAPPY PLAYERS] = [MORE INVESTMENT INTO THIS GAME]

The point is not that we HAVE to spend money. Is that the way IMC allows us to spend money feels exploitative.

iTOS as a whole is a shameless IMC cash grab

Not even worth buying for a single character because the emotes won’t work on party chat and guild (just as the old Kepa Joy emote). Only Shout and Normal I think and per-character.

nothing is as bad as a cashgrab as swtor’s new “costumes” and outfits… NOTHING:D

well, maybe archeage stuff

IMC sitll hasn’t “rebooted” and made a “classic” server where before tokens and everything mostly horrible existed back in iCBT2…yet because mobile is coming soon.
