The hype train, do weneed it?

Yes every games has their own bug no matter how much the dev look into but the purpose of close beta was to squish most bug and glitches plus to see some mechanics that can be abused to be fixed so it’ll go smoother during OBT. The CBT will continue on until IMC is satisfied with the result.

Everyone wanted to play, everyone wanted to download the game but do they really don’t mind to see bugs and glitches that could possibly be found and fixed during CBT phase? I’ve experienced an MMO where 1 CBT was conducted with limited amount of players, then when the game goes live, everyone found an annoying bug where you can’t attack monsters, dupe items, aoe glitch and many more.

This one is a big issue as depending on how bad it was it could lead to server wipes and no one wants to see that especially if the game is supposed to be in full release.

Well they can do more big betas as well

I think that’s a very self-serving way of seeing things.
This is how you feel because you want to play the game now. In reality taking longer generally equates to more players. Releasing an unfinished, unpolished game will only serve to alienate people who want a complete experience that’s stable and fun.

I’d rather wait a year to start playing, than boot up today and have to deal with issues repeatedly.

The later bosses looked a bit harder. There was a big electric slinky that looks challenging. Albeit buggy.

Didnt say now.but there alot people out there that want 2 help in a beta 2 fined bugs and all but cant.if they really want 2 polish the game then they need at last one beta a months.if they take a long time (year +) but do low amount of beta tests then the game will not0 be as polished as people like you hope.it will be like any other mmo ,1-6 months of fixes .
low amount of beta tests onlly creat a hype.

Yeah, I wonder why they didn’t just keep the server running while they fix the bugs like kCBT does.
I don’t really mind the lack of content past 100, I just wanna play haha.

Harder ? All i did see is longer as you can move and attack just need 2 DODGE more.for me at last longer is =/= harder.maybe when i play i will see that i am wrong and i hope i am.

Because our beta test wanted to test something diff than korea’s. Our was mostly focused on: translation, server stress test(reason they gave out 4000 extra keys) and to test the steam platform.

Also i disagree, closed betas should never be monthly, they should have 2-3 months betweeb them so most of the feedback can be read, testes by imcgames and let them implement the feedback they feel works with their vision of the game

This is so you dont bur out befor the game is out at all.the game play will not change from 1-100 so much.

Well it’s probably a big pain in the ass to speak to someone that doesn’t speak your language. Have to call up a translator anytime you want to read any feedback. I’d probably be more worried about getting the QA up to snuff and getting the final content in then breaking language barriers.

Expensive, slow… Waste of resources… Some benefit but probably get similar feedback from home community for gameplay feedback.

I guess bulk of American’s are viewed as the filthy casuals in the eyes of the global gaming world… But beyond that… Vile repulsive community of popped collars, Doritos, Mountain Dew and McDonald’s chicken nuggets. You have… us… And we’re basically little Korea as far as our tastes go. So just let them fix it in Korea… All we really want anyway is some sprites and some cool classes an isometric camera and some monsters to endlessly explode. They’ill do it well enough back in Korea and they wont have to worry about translating our local trolls.

How long it takes 2 read?and doing beta tests the way the do or 99% of mmorpg do is bad.it helps the drvelopers in creating hype but dont give them time 2 find all the problems.it will take a year 2 have the game ready.so you can do 12 tests in this time or 3.now you tell me where you will find more things?

Then you realize they have: Korean beta test and international beta test to find bugs(Besides Indo and JP). 4-5 Cbts a year is more than enough. I understand, you want to play the game, but waiting does no harm to anyone.

Since the Icbt they have had 1-2 betas a month. They are just in different regions.

releasing now or later, what matters to most people is the quality of the product at the time of release.

that said lets hope its NOT like what hits the market nowadays, too many games released like unfinished products, generic, bland, content “yet to be done”. (dunno what TO means by “good new MMOs”, EoS, Aura Kingdom, Skyforge, all fresh, all suck)

I don’t buy a half-baked pizza, but if theres a market for it, good luck to those who will venture!

You do realize that the Korean version and the international are basically 2 diferent games siting on 2 diferent servers and so can and will have different problems.fineding 80 % on Korean and 70% on international is more or less what we will get.if the developer dont see and understand this then its sad.if they simply dont have the men power then non of the versions will be polished at release.and then big chunk of the players will say “what they waited all this time for” and be disappointed.disappointed people most likely will leave.

IMC has stated all the servers will be the same so no your wrong.

The fact that the version is the same is dont say the bugs are.there build in bugs that can be the same.then there the bugs you will get from the diferent servers .the servers are not the same.bugs you can have in Korea may not be in intern.
So how and where i am wrong

If all the servers are running the same build which they should be the errors and exploits that exist should be the same.

Its not how it works.lets take lol for a moment.problems in the eu servers dont happening in the na so many times.but all the servers have the same patch the same time.
