The bonus XP in group is UNFAIR

How far were you planing to solo anyways?

You need to dungeon.
You need to mission.
You will probably want to join a guild in the future.

Were you planning to never reach level 100?

as far as I know this only applies to dungeons. And party finder(queue) gives %600 if everyone joins w/o party.

  1. General Party EXP.
    • 2 Players (180%)
    • 3 Players (220%)
    • 4 Players (280%)
    • 5 Players (350%)
  • The bonus of ‘Unique Class’ experience will also apply to the party members.
  • If there are 3 Unique jobs in party, +10% bonus experience will be applied.
  • If there is 4 Unique jobs in party, The bonus experience will increase to +50%.

Unique Class Example :
( Archer, Warrior, Cleric, Wizard) == 4 Unique Job Members

  1. Party Automatic Matching System
  • The unique-class bonus does not apply if the party was created via automatic matching.
  • Instance Dungeons created via Automatic Matching will increase the 5 players experience gain by 600%
  • If other members leave during the instance, experience will increase by +120%
  • This bonus experience doesn’t apply during 1 mans days.
  • However, the experience bonus is applicable only when the parties sharing setting is set to ‘evenly distributed’.

Nope just having a 5 man party provides a 250% bonus on top of your base 100% rate. Then having 4 unique base classes in there puts it too 400%.
400%/5 = 80%.

While in the dungeons matchmaking 600%/5 = 120% or 1.2x more exp.

The streamer simply has no life and has been playing with exp books since day one you donkey.

You get bonus xp, but isnt the xp split between each person?

So, lets say you get 400% xp with 5 people. Your actually only getting 80% of the full mob xp if you were to kill it yourself?

Doesn’t sound so bad…

It’s a MMO. you’re not alone, go interact other people. party and grind with them

if you prefer solo in the most game you shouldn’t play any MMO

Grinding spots are all over the place at various level ranges. Its not some magical area where it suddenly starts.

More on topic: altho exp scrolls/token/group also plays a roll, its more to do with doing both quest chains from the start, and playing a high dps ‘‘screen kill’’ build that can make use of the grinding locations without investing too much time.

That really depends on the build.

Its a party, not a 40m raid.

And thats the main reason why said person was 170, instead of 70 as the OP was, yes.

I’m quite surprised theres that much bonus exp as a party tho…makes soloing (or even duoing) very ineffecient in comparison.
Which is weird because being in a party already means its a) safer, B) less resources used, and less silver used and c) typically more fun.

Grinding phase starts at around the demon prison, or maybe around Legwyn. You don’t really have to grind before that unless you are doing something wrong.

Anything before grinding phase don’t provide a big exp difference honestly. Your level progress is based on the exp card.

I’ve been playing solo and not even focusing that hard on leveling (trying to keep up with spawn timers on archon & cerberus, farming/crafting some items here and there, etc.) and I’ve still got a good 50 levels on you. I think you’re just not spending your time efficiently.

Honestly I’m not in a big rush to reach max level, it’s not like there’s too much to do at it currently anyway.
