So was the circling fix, circling attribute was reflecting the reflected damage. Now it only does it once per hit like its supposed to.

sounds like you used a rank reset potion lol

In the OP’s defense, IMC has not made it clear in the past what sorts of skill effects are considered “hidden effects” with “intended functionality” that just isn’t explained in the skill, and what is considered a bug.

IMC still operates on this archaic belief that players don’t like to know how their characters skills work–which in and of itself is not necessarily a bad thing…but making it impossible/cost money to reset skills after you find out that skills don’t work how you’d anticipated is counter-intuitive to the idea of exploring skills and testing new and interesting skill builds.

If IMC doesn’t want everyone following meta-builds, they should make skill resets more accessible so that people can actually see for themselves whether things actually work the way they are stated, or the way people would expect.

Circling wasn’t broken it was fixed, there was a known exploit with it that people were using, now that its fixed alot of people think the skill is broken when it really isin’t.

The limacon buff I been saying for weeks we’d be getting as Ktos got one a bit after the initial combat revamp. As for retreat shot, I feel its still far to weak for how akward it is to use it. None of the changes I have heard about broke anything, in most cases it improved alot of classes. Again the circling thing was fixing a known exploit, so now the skill is working as it was intended to. Unless they somehow really screwed the pooch and somehow made it complely ineffective.

One of my fave buffs was to warlock, while it wasn’t a damage increase it fixed something that annoyed alot of people. The fact that pole of agony used to be put where ever your wizard was standing, now? its a ground target like meteor/hail/frozen ground/firepillar etc. Its aoe radius also seemed to be increased, because before patch I remember dropping it right in the center of a pack of monsters and it only hitting 1 when there was like 5 humping it.

Stop trying to ignore OP’s point.
His point is that IMC patches things (whether if it’s to fix bugs or slightly modify a skill) without telling about it. Normally in games you tell your playerbase the modifications you bring to your game, they need it. They need to know how things work, if something was fixed, if something was modified.
IMC just ninja patches everything whenever they feel like it, and players are the ones finding it and explaining it to other players. This is IMC’s job, not players’.
OP is simply complaining about how the staff doesn’t do its communication work.
Nothing new though.

1000% agree. Those changes should have been made BEFORE/DURING reset event, NOT AFTER.
although i am Okay with the change… i just wish IMC would have informed their players before hand - cause what they did was NOT COOL.

And here we sum up the ToS experience since even before day 1.

the person making this kind of decisions on imc needs to be fired asap cause that person have no clue of wtf he / she is doing, lots of old players returned with this reset event what imc does??? change classes in the exact moment the rank reset event ends and throw us back to the “farm all day get nothing” dpk
i cant understand how they manage to keep doing this kind of thing knowing the results they had since the game started, if this ■■■■ keeps going on soon tos will be back to the waste land it was before the rank reset event

Anyone who’s been playing ToS and even modestly checking in the forums for more than a month probably should have expected exactly this: we all knew the event was only 2 weeks long, and we knew huge changes were being made–that means there needs to be some time to work out the kinks and test how all the new functionalities work: that was the true purpose of the reset event.

It wasn’t to “give every TOS player the chance to rebuild their characters” as they said; it was an opportunity for them to allow the playerbase to test out all the changes so they can take our feedback and continue adjusting. You KNOW they weren’t just going to get everything right on the first go, and if you thought IMC was going to be actively making adjustments during that 2-week reset period? Well…I have some news for you about how IMC operates…
