I honestly don’t mind lower population games, as long as i can get TBL matches and missions, and get into grinding parties im happy. I can get that in Klaipeda.
All more players do is mess up my farming anyways

What a weeb.

Blame DPK for that, if mob spawn rate was’t fixed rate a bigger player pop can actually make DPK feel better imo.
more players>more/faster channel kill count>more items in market>inflation(lol).

I prefer matte black(rubber sheet I use for crafting is mainly this too) or any flat dark tones, sparkling in white and standing out too much is like asking the enemy archer/mage to shoot me down asap.
Instead of a knight, would rather enroll in the mage academy, borrow bunch of grimoires and hole up in my basement blowing things up doing alchemy experiments.
try to woo RC/Thau/Chrono Master-nee-samas
I am one of those players who came from an already closed server and migrated my main account to iRO. Some of my friends did return and played. I actually didn’t. On the first few weeks of migration, i got a feedback from a friend that he’s always getting disconnected (much like iTOS last year). A couple of months later another friend played and invited me. I did download and install iRO. I helped him for a short while and he showed me around on what’s new and what’s different from our old version of RO. I really tried coming back there, but, just like what you said, desyncs, disconnections (but it’s a lot less than it was before), rubberbanding were pretty frequent. I can’t even imagine how to do War of Emperium in that state. Might probably be even worse than iTOS GvG or TBL. People like to compare how RO’s guild war is so much playable than iTOS’ but it seems that they are forgetting that most RO servers (before) were country-hosted and server is located within the country which means the least ping. Though i might be wrong and people from countries with their own versions of TOS can approve or disprove this.
The attitude of players should not affect weather the game is good or bad.
Heck, I want this game to be as toxic as possible as long as it has
100K++ player base where the game doesn’t waver on a single post some banned player makes or someone quitting.
But look at where we are a single post can affect the remaining player base to either quit or stay depending on this players friend which probably within a circle of 10-40.
Just going to respond in this pool of ■■■■ posting - sorry this happened man.
Do you even play the game though? Seems like you just play forum warrior. I created one of the first guilds on release and brought a bunch of friends into this game, and have since seen all of them quit. Most of the players I knew from CB or early release have ■■■■■■ off as well. I stuck it out and even defended this game for a long time, told everyone to give IMC a chance to fix things. Game’s been out about a year now and it’s still in a complete ■■■■ state. Failed update after failed update drop and improve next to nothing about the game, we get garbage new features like transcendence and garbage old features (and bugs) stick around unimproved until it’s just trash piling up on top of trash. It’s not shitters that are quitting this game en masse. Only wallet warriors and beta cuck white knights like yourself who would get off on watching IMC ■■■■ your wife are still convinced that this game is going in the right direction.
iRO having 3k players on a ■■■■■■■ centuries old game is a huge accomplishment compared to ToS having that playercount in 2016 by the way. The fact that you even have to reach that far shows how badly the game is doing. And it’s continuing to decline - the small bump they got from finally releasing a one-time rank reset was lost immediately. IMC’s updates don’t bring any new players in, they just make old players leave. Meanwhile ■■■■ like token restrictions and the enormous amount of inflation going on thanks to the still unmitigated bot problem continues to drive any potential players away.
Every dedicated white knight is happy with a ‘small dedicated fanbase’ until their game finally shuts down because the whales can no longer sustain the servers.
Stick to /tosg/ with this horseshit. It holds no place in a reasonable conversation, but I wonder if that is what you actually want?
Been playing since iCBT2, played RO for 10 years, and I will play this game till it dies.
I see people quit too, surprisingly we can always find new people to join our guild and continue to play. All this ■■■■ this game has done is nothing compared to the ■■■■ that iRO went through.
The only thing that has changed are peoples tolerance for it. Everyone expects all MMOs to have the same support and update frequency as WOW and then gets pissy when it doesn’t happen.
There are plenty of new players, you just choose not to see it.
And yet during this level up event I have never had an issue finding a party/missions for anything!
Why should I care about steam numbers? I will care if I can no longer play the game.
The numbers don’t lie, there are more players leaving than returning/new players.
Many existing players are making new alts as well, because if you haven’t quit by now that’s all you lot will be doing anyway.
Remiri, I have had trouble! I was in queue for over 50mins and I wasn’t able to get a party for Saulaui Level 100 in Klaipeda :(!
lvl 100 is a bit of a bad place for missions, since people below you can’t queue yet.
Understandable, but as a newbie I really want that. It just makes me upset that I waited for so long, only for one other person to show up at like 10 to 20 minute intervals and then leave again. Hard to progress as a newbie.
Honestly with how abundant quests are in this game I never have trouble leveling. If there are no missions going on, then i can find a map and quest or shout for a dungeon group.
Make sure to use your 5 free tp for megaphones, and you can shout for people to join up for 100 missions. Some people have alts in that range but need a reminder.
Thank you, I will remember to do so!
I just feel like whenever I do missions I am not dealing enough damage, nor moving fast enough to keep up with some of my newly made friends ^^ They always have alts that just breeze through, making the gap even bigger and harder to catch up, leaving me behind haha
Forgot to edit this in here, but I’m more of a social player. Playing with others is much more fun than playing by yourself just dwindling away at a mission list.
In that case I would recommend joining a social guild. While they may not be able to party with you all the time you can at least chat with them!
Ahh yes, I was looking for one, but they all seem to have level requirements. They asked me what alts I have and said I’m new. They said 200+, but you’ll get there eventually. Just feels bad at the time
