If you are going for Hoplite 3 it is better to max out Stabbing.
atm my pierce crits depending on the mob around for 2.5k up to 3.5k for multiple times 
pierce also does very high dmg but for burst stabbing is king almost takes half of boss hp for my levels

Which is 5187 damage from Stabbing and 1854~3708 from Pierce, without considering any other factors but skill levels alone.
That is why it is better to max Stabbing if one is going into Hoplite C3.
No, you donāt need SP or SP Regen since potions and careful use of your skills takes care of that. And Magic Resistance scales very poorly, so it is not worth it.

@Cathexis so what is a swordsman/pelta/hoplite 2/corsair 2 / Templar build like ? What sort of skills would you need on corsair and would the high str stat distribution pvp work with that class layout? I am kind of interested in it
I believe that in pvp is better pick Doppel instead of Corsair.

Yeah, that is fine for PvE. You want to add a few points into DEX too, around 20~25 is fine, you but can always add more or less from any stat to feel comfortable with your character.
Like @nuel_pw, pretty much better for PvP since you will have Iron Hook.
You are going to need an All-around build rather than a High STR, because you need a lot of CON to survive in scenarios like PvP and the upcoming GvG, while keeping your DEX high enough to hit most targets and then the rest will go to STR to increase your damage.
Since you have Finestra then you donāt have to worry too much about Critical Rate, but you will still want to complement it with gems.

This build is decent. But put less pts on high guard and place it on rim blow. Should be lvl 6 also take out weapon maint. Max camp and food put the rest on arrest. Those 11 targets restrained will save your team in raids and battle league
For templar, templar 3 or gtfo. Your guild needs all the comfort they need. Also dont get warp and summon. Those are pretty useless. Better max battle orders and reduce craft instead

As a templar your strength is your guild so basically they carry you, you give them access to your castle. Give and Take per se. So yeah as a guild master its your job to make it the most comfortable for them. Also pure con to be useful in raids and it will prevebt you from being deadweight for your guild
